Later on, my mom came home she was scary but not because she was yelling it was the lack thereof she was nice almost too nice I could feel that something was going to happen something big but the diary slipped my mind because of this newfound behavior of my moms we had dinner and it was all fine and good but then it happened I did my nightly routine as usual but then I hear
"Ava Sophi Jones get down here right now" my mom growled with ground teeth I was terrified my heart going 1,000 beats per minute my mind was racing
"What did I do," I ask myself
"So... I found your diary," she said, her voice was as powerful as ten or even twenty soldiers, my heart skipped a beat I remembered some of the stuff I wrote in it
"And I was very displeased," she said as she walked to her work bag and brought it back to the love seat she was sitting on
"Please let this be a fake-out how she actually super accepting" I hoped knowing she was super transphobic/homophobic
"So I read it and here are some things I will NOT be doing to or for you" she took a pause
"Well so much for coming out on national coming out day or during June," I think to myself sarcastically
"I will not buy you a 'binder' especially one that costs around 35 dollars, secondly I will not buy you flags that would be a disgrace to our house home and the family name" "but one thing I will do is..." she pauses I can't tell if she misspoke or just thinking on what to say next
"Get out," she said firmly behind her grided teeth
"No mom I can explain I was holding that diary for a friend!"
"I don't fucking care get out!" she screamed psychotically
"Please let me stay please please please." I sobbed. She marched upstairs lucky she left the diary on the grey loveseat I sigh and silently went upstairs I grabbed my backpack lucky I only brought my book home earlier today we didn't have homework in another class so all I needed was my book so I grabbed my some of my favorite t-shirts like my My Chemical Romance my laced moon shirt and my Panic At The Disco shirt I grabbed and some plane colored V-necks along with some jeans and sweatpants that go with anything two sweatshirts and pajamas then some things that reminded me of my sister I grabbed some food and two water bottles then I went off into the night the next day I went to school as if nothing happened
