Dahyun's P.O.V

"Hey.. dahyun, wake up." Eunwoo whispered softy as i slowly opened my eyes feeling my neck cramp a little from the uncomfortable position i had slept in.

I rubbed my eyes and looked out from the window expecting to see my dorm building but instead it was a cafe.

A familiar cafe.

"What are we doing here?" I asked him as he unbuckled his belt. "We're here to eat." He replied dryly as i looked at him confused.

Did he somehow know i was hungry?

"Come on now. I can't wait for you all day." He said as i quickly got out of the car, already seeing him enter the cafe.

Damn, someone's grumpy today.

I came inside too, feeling chills go up my spine as the freezing cold touched my bare skin.

I didn't expect that i'd be outside for so long so i didn't bother bringing a jacket. Seriously why do i always do this? I never learn my lesson do i?

Next time i'm going to be prepared.

"Eunwoo! DAHYUN." Lowi yelled loudly as Mirae popped up from behind the kitchen, smiling at us.

I gave them both a weak smile back, feeling that my energy was pretty drained.

I want to go home and sleep so lets just get this over with.

"Two burgers and two cokes please." Again, the same exact order.

But who am i to complain, i love me any kind of food.

Lowi came up to me excited but her smile immediately faded once she saw how weak i looked "Hey, you feeling good?" Lowi asked as i nodded. "Yeah, just cold." I said as Eunwoo moved to sit on one of the tables farthest fron the windows.

Thankfully no one was in the cafe so we could take our masks off.

"Wait here." Lowi said going behind ge counter and grabbing a jacket.

"It was my moms. But you can have it." She said handing me the gorgeous jacket in her hands.

"Wait but its your moms."

"Yeah i know. But i don't have any use for it. Plus you look like you need it more than i do. Think of it as an early birthday present." She said giving me a sad smile.

"Well, my birthday is coming up soon."

I took the jacket and put it on, saying thanks as she returned to her shift at the cafe.

I went to sit in the seat in front of Eunwoo. He wouldn't even bother looking at me.

Gosh, this sissy. I don't have the time or strength for this.

"What? Are you mad? You wanna know what i was doing at that cafe? And so late at night with your ex-girlfriend? Are you curious?" I asked a little harshly than i meant to.

He looked at me as i mentally i rolled my eyes.

"Just ask me its not like i'll lie to you anyways..." I said, my tone more gentle and soft this time.

"Fine, i'll ask you. Are you dumb?" Ouch, "Why would you meet up with her? And without telling me?" He asked and i could sense the frustration in his voice.

"She messaged me saying that she wanted to talk and make things right between us--"

He looked at me shocked "And you believed her?"

"Well i hoped she'd changed. Also i would never know her real intentions if i hadn't gone. Maybe she really did want to change for the better. Everyone deserves a second chance." I said trying my best to defend myself, but even i  could hear the tiredness in my voice.

Mirae came in putting down the two burgers cokes infront of us. I looked at her and remembered something.

Oh right.

I grabbed her wrist right as soon as she placed down the plater of food. "I have something i want to say and its important. " i stood up as she looked at me confused.

I dragged her to a far corner in the cafe, making sure no one could listen. I don't how i got the energy to do this but i realized that if i were to ever say this then it has to be before she finds out some other way.

"Whats all this about? Your food's probably gonna get cold an--"

"I'm dating Eunwoo." I said cutting her off as i see the shock on her face.

A little too sudden maybe?

I held my breath and closed my eyes shut tight, waiting for a scream, a slap, maybe even glare. But she just stood there, still and statue.

When it was obvious she wasn't going to say anything i spoke up "Look Mirae i know you liked him wayyy before i ever did. I'm sorry and i'm not really sure how we ended up dating but it just suddenly happened. And i wanted to tell you next time i'd see you personally, i didn't want you to find out through social media or something else like that. You truely are a great friend of mine and i cherish you a lot--" I blabbered along but stopped once i noticed her laughing at my nervous state.0

"W-why are you laughing?" I asked shocked and confused at the same time.

"Why are you explaining this to me?" She asked, i looked at her like she'd grown two heads.

"What do you mean? You said you had a crush on him and so i thoug--"

"That was such a long time ago. I got over it a long long ago. Plus it's not like i can date a kpop idol anyway, they're way out of my league." She explained as i felt myself let out a breath that i had unknowingly held in.

"Oh okay then..."

"You looked so worried and weak i thought you would faint any minute." She giggled as i smiled. Well it's like i'm going to get any more energized standing here.

"K i gotta go now. The dishes won't clean themselves." She said hitting my fore arm before leaving.

I went back to the table and immediately started devoring the food. It tasted great as always and boy was i hungry.

The rest of the night was better than i expected.

Eunwoo didn't seem to be that mad at me. When i had told Lowi me and Eunwoo were dating(and the fact that Mirae was fine with it) she had freaked out screaming everywhere until her grandmother came up to shut her up, worrying the neighbors would be annoyed.

Eunwoo and i had headed back in his car and he dropped my back to Twice's dorm.

I was still wearing Lowi's jacket and honestly bless her for saving me like that. I probably would have freezed to death by now.

I got out of the car and was about to close the door and leave when i poked my head back inside, getting a little too close to his face. Not my intention but it was a bonus i guess.

"By the way, i punched Jiyoo. Yeah you can thank me later." I said before closing the door and heading back inside.

I could already imagine his reaction but i was too tired to wonder. Right now my bed and sleep sounded like the most pleasant duo ever.

Damn i love my bed.

You're welcome for the double update! I wanted to surprise you guys because its gonna be a little harder to update every week since online classes started again and i have my final exams in a few weeks. So i hope you can forgive me if i can't update on time :)
