~Is This Fate Or Something?~

~Aomine P.O.V~

I tried to hide my sadness as I dropped my little girl off for her first day of school. She was so precious and was growing up so fast. I didn't wanna let her go, but Satsuki was right there with me as she always had been.

I had to walk her to her classroom. And then we got there, I looked around to maybe talk with the teacher but they were so where to be seen.

"Excuse me sir, I would like you to stay for a little while. You're only the second parent here so take a s—" the persons voice cut off.

And I jumped back, startled from the certain voice. But once I noticed who was in front of me my jaw dropped.

"T- Tetsu???" I asked.

Satsuki pounced on him, almost like nothing had changed.

"Hello Momoi-San, and Aomine-Kun." He greeted in that nonchalant voice of his.

"Are you the teacher?" I asked him, raising an eyebrow.

Not that I was surprised or anything... he was good with people... most of the time, and he always loved kids.

"Yes, I am. Could you please sit down? Since this is the kids first ever day of school, I wanted their parents to stay for a little longer than they normally would." The still short boy explained to me.

"How have you been Tetsu-Kun?" Satsuki asked him with wide eyes.

"I've been great, what about you?" He asked her back.

He was smiling. He looked really happy to see us. I hadn't even noticed that Harumi had ran off to play with some toys around the classroom.

"Is this your guys daughter?" He asked, gesturing to my baby girl.

I couldn't stop myself from laughing.

"No way!!! Is that Satsuki's kid!!!"

She had laughed a little bit too.

"No, Harumi is Dai-Chan's daughter. Her mother left a few months after she was born." Satsuki explained.

"Oh I'm sorry to hear that. But at least she still has a mother roll in her life."

"Yeah, Satsuki here takes care of her a lot of the time. I'm a police officer, so I can't be around as much as I want to." I chuckled nervously.

"What about you Tetsu-Kun? Have you found a partner??" She wonderful hopefully.

I could tell just by the look on my bestfriends face that she was still longing for Tetsu.

"Yes actually. Me and Kagami-Kun are in a relationship now." He revealed, a soft pink tint on his face.

She frowned, and looked away. I put a comforting arm around her.

"I thought he went back to America?" I asked.

"He did for awhile. But he came back. He said that he couldn't stay where I wasn't. And I realized he gave up his dream of the NBA for me..."
