Nathan
I was shocked to see her at the grocery store, I was too shocked of course because she came at the same time yesterday and today she came again. I thought, oh its just a coincidence while my eyes linger around her surroundings trying not to meet eyes.
I grabbed a basket and went to the last aisle to avoid bumping into her again literally. Gathering my wits, I acted normal like I wasn't even noticing her but it was hard to try and avoid but looking at her just is so irresistible.
My heart raced as I walked slowly but my eyes sought for her every time she was out of sight, then suddenly I see her on the next aisle which I was suppose to buy, almost jumping out of my pants, I hurriedly took a box of cereals.
When I reached the counter, I noticed the box of cereals were the same ones she bought but I was too late to notice because my mind was preoccupied by the girl standing behind me.
Without even looking I knew it was her. I don't know why but I didn't have time to look for the answer because I was about to pay. As I was about to reach my back pocket for my wallet, she deliberately and I think she intentionally did it, dropped what looked like cat food.
I tried to ignore her but no one seemed to help her so I knelt down and helped her grab the cans to which I think was over a dozen. Just how many cats does she have?, the stupid question popped out of nowhere.
I stood up holding half of the cans and put it on top of the counter. I was already finished standing in the line but my feet didn't seem to want to move. It felt like I wanted to wait for her an so I did.
Don't you think its foolish to wait for a girl you don't even have a clue to who she is? Oh well. As soon as she got out I intended to help her because I could see she was having a hard time holding it for a minute.
So I offered a helping hand but I got dumped. Feeling a bit pissed, I walked away without looking at her, Oh man!!
But suddenly I remembered why am I being pissed when I don't even know who she is. What right do I have to be pissed at her? So I kept on walking but suddenly I heard a scream, a voice so familiar, she was calling me. I dropped the goods I bought and rushed to wherever the voice I heard led me.
Taylor
I followed him around hoping he'd notice but I felt a sign of denial from the way he walked away whenever I got close to him.
I followed him to the counter but he didn't even look back. I itched that I could already yell at him but instead I got a brilliant idea. I drop the cans of cat food I clutched between my arms and then... yes!! He actually turned around and even helped me.
As soon as I got out the store, he asked me if I needed a hand but I shut him down but I felt guilty seeing him walk away with dismay. I was waling towards my car when I felt a hand on my shoulder. Turning around to see who it was. I screamed loudly. Hoping that someone could hear me.
"Shut up or you're dead," he threatens me as he covers my mouth with his filthy hand. I tried to think out a way to get off his grip but he only tightens it as he lifts me over his shoulder.
This time tears started falling down my cheeks as he carried me to God knows where when I heard a familiar voice behind us.
"Let her go," I almost felt a sigh of relief. The guy who was carrying me looked at him and scoff.
"You think you can handle me?" he asks then drops me harshly on the ground making me yelp in pain.
"You son of a.." the guy whom I recognized, charge at him as he try to give a helping hand. Then they started to beat each other out. I quickly stood up not caring about the pain I had on my left foot as I try and break them apart.
"Hey!! Thats enough!!" I pulled the guy off of the kidnapper as he quickly scurries away from us with a bloody nose.
"Are you okay?" the guy asked me and I nodded at him. He stood up and I followed suit then I scream again in pain.
"Hey are you sure you're okay?" he looks at me worriedly as I put a hand on his shoulder for support. This time I didn't fight back the tears then I felt myself being carried bridal style.
My eyes widen in shock but then I felt myself getting comfortable as he carried me to his car. I wrapped my arms around his neck as I nuzzled my face in the crook of his neck as I inhale his scent.
He smelt like raspberry with a mixture of men's cologne. I close my eyes for a second before I heard the car door open as he set me carefully on the passenger seat and buckled up my seatbelt.
I quietly said 'thanks' to him as he responded with a nod before shutting the car door and jogged to the other side of the car as he slid in, buckling his own seat belt before driving off the parking lot. Forgetting about the cat food that I drop when that dude tried to kidnap me.
"Where are we going?" I asked rather quietly. He looks at me for a second before turning his gaze back on the road.
"To the hospital," I nodded and lean my head back on the windowsill as we pass by trees and buildings.
The car ride was silent as we reach the hospital. He quickly unbuckles his seat belt as he rush to my side of the car and carried me again as I unbuckled my on seat belt.
"Hi, how may I help you?" The lady on the counter asked politely. She looked to be in her mid-twenties. She has a short brown hair with pale brown eyes. She's wearing the usual dress of the nurses around here which look like their wearing their pjs to work.
"Um...I think she sprained her foot." He said still carrying me. The girl smiled brightly at us before typing in on her computer.
"Name?"
"Alison Finlay," I answered nervously almost telling her my real name. She looked at us and told us to wait at the waiting area.
"Thanks," he muttered. I heard the girl sigh and breathe out young love which made me smile a little as a blush creeps on my cheeks.
He set me down on my feet as I hop to the bench at the waiting area and sat down. Moments later, he sat down beside me before propping his elbows on his knees, clasping his hand together.
Minutes later, I heard my name being called as he stood up and help me out.
"Hi, I'm Dr. Evans," she reached out her hand for us to shake as we accepted the shake, greeting her politely.
"Okay, so what bring you guys here today?" she asks as I was about to say something he cut me off.
"She sprained her foot," he answers and she nodded her head, writing something down on her clipboard. She stood up and told us to wait for her. Which we responded with a nod.
A deep silence ensued between us as we both waited for Dr. Evans to return. Moments later she came back with a brown haired girl trailing behind her.
I looked intently at her as she trailed behind Dr. Evans.
"Hi, Im Lena," she greets as she smiled at me but when her gaze fell on him. Her face turned white.
I looked over at him and he had the same expression as she had making me confused. He looked at me with wide eyes. Shock imprinted in his face like he saw a ghost.
So they meet again. Hope you like it. And what are you're thoughts on Lena? Don't forget to
