Ecco's Love

Chapter four

Ecco's P.O.V

    "What'd Gotham's white knight want?" I ask.

    "Pengy's put a bounty on my head. Which means we need to be prepared." She walks into the spare bedroom and opens the closet, revealing all sorts of weapons. 

    "Can you use them all?"

    "Yeah Ra's Al Ghul taught me how to use all of them, he also taught me how to fight. He was the one who helped your boss blow the bridges."  She pulls out a bow and leather hoodie. "Take whatever you want. We leave soon."

    "How did you know him?" I ask curious.

    "Know who?"

    "Ra's Al Ghul, how'd you know him?"

    "He was.... He was my father, Nyssa was my older sister. So you can see why I changed my last name." She jokes.

    "Well once this is all over we should leave Gotham, go somewhere we can start over." I suggest.

    "I hear Starling city's nice." She agrees, pulling out a duffle bag. "Wanna fool Pengy?" She asks happily. 

    "This is gonna be fun." 45 minutes later I'm standing outside Penguins with a "dead" Alexa. His assassin leads me to where he is.

    "My men tell me you've killed Alexa Sink." I smile at him.

    "Yes I have." I gesture to the duffle bag. 

    "Open it." I do as he asks and it reveals a completely unmoving Alexa. "And there's another thing her real name is Alexa Al' Ghul."

    "Very impressive. Victor give the young lady her reward." I look down at Alexa before following the assassin out of the room. 

     "This isn't gonna end, well is it?" I shrug and smirk.

Alexa's P.O.V

     "You shouldn't have threatened me, Mrs. Al' Ghul." I can hear the smirk in his voice that's it. I pull out my knife and put it against his throat. "H-how?"

    "Oh Pengy You were played. The blonde that was Ecco." His eyes go wide in shock. "Yeah, you're the first on our little list."

    "W-why?" He stutters fear in his eyes.

    "You double crossed me and left me for dead. So now it's time I return the favor." He gulps and tries to run. I use my gun and shoot him in the leg. I pull out my bow and arrow and shoot him in the other leg. "Do you know what hurts more than arrow going in?" I say bending down to his level. "This is an arrow coming out." I pull it out and he screams in pain.

    "Stop, I'll give you triple what I originally promised."

    "No, because when I'm done here I'm going to call the GCPD. From what I understand you and Commissioner Gordon are old friends." Ten minutes later, Penguin's out cold from the pain. I meet Ecco and Victor outside. "Thanks for to your help, Vic."

    "No problem. You gonna introduce me to your friend?" He asks looking Ecco.

    "Victor Ecco. Ecco Victor." I introduce them and they shake hands. "Now Vic we have to go and so do you the cops are on their way." We leave and head back to my apartment we get there and I change into normal clothes.

    "That went better than expected."

    "It helped to have Vic on my side." I comment.

    "I guess it did. What about Jeremiah? He's still in Arkham, how are we gonna kill him?"

    "We don't not yet. He'll break out soon enough." 

    "Good point, if hears about us, he'll kill us both." She says scared.

     "That's why we'll take him first, or we can leave now." 

    "Maybe we should just leave."

     "Alright I'll pack my stuff." I walk into my room and pack my clothes. After some thought I decide to leave my weapons. "There." I walk back into the living room just in time for someone to knock. I open the door and reveal Commissioner Gordon. "What can I do for you?"

     "Do you know anything about Penguin being tortured and left for the cops to find?" 

     "Hm Can't say that I do." 

     "Really because I have witnesses that seen you and a blonde leaving the scene."

     "VIsiting Victor. Now if you'll excuse I'm currently in the packing for a trip out of town." I close the door and sigh in relief. A few hours later we're at the airport boarding a plane to Star City. 

     "Here's to a new life."
