Ecco's Love

Chapter Seven

Alexa's P.O.V

     "Nyssa please let me go." I beg fighting back the tears. 

     "I'm sorry father wishes to speak with you." My heart almost stops. The guards grab me and practically drag me to see him. 

     "Hello Alexa." 

     "Father."

     "Leave us." The surrounding guards bow and leave. He walks forward until he's right in front of me. "You were meant to be the strongest of you and your sisters and look at you now. You've given up everything."

     "No I didn't I gave up being a monster to save my soul because unlike you I have a heart." I sneer. "Because unlike you I have someone that I love and she loves me." He slaps me as hard as he can knocking me to the floor.

     "You dare speak to me like that? I raised you. I gave you everything and you betrayed me. Now you'll pay the price for it." The tears fall down before I can stop them.

     "N-no please don't I'm sorry." The guards drag me to a room and chain me up. 

Ecco's P.O.V

     "One more thing no killing." I start to pout as we fly to Nanda parbat. 

     "Fine." The rest of the trip is quiet. When we arrive he lands a little ways away from the place. We hike the rest of the way. "Thank you for helping me."  we go in guns/ batarangs blazing. I completely ignored his no kill order. I hear screaming and run towards it shooting anyone who gets in my way. when I see her it breaks my heart. Old wounds have been reopened along with new ones. "Red." 

     "Hey blondey." She struggles to get out. "Here to rescue me?" 

     "Yup." I say unchaining her. When I do she practically collapses into my arms. "You're gonna be alright." 

     "Thanks Blondey." She pulls out one of my guns and shoots a guy that was coming up behind us. I help her on her feet and get out of there. We get to where Batsy is and he picks up her pretty much unconscious form. 

    "What happened to her?"

    "They tortured her." I growl as we go back to his plane. Once we get back to Starling I patch up her wounds. 

    "I'd appreciate it if you tell Mr. J that I'm dead." I ask the Bat who's standing in the shadows.

    "Why is she so important to you?" He asks eyeing her suspiciously. 

    "She's the first person who cares about me for me. Now leave."

Alexa's P.O.V

    I wake up back in our bed. I'm home? How'd I get home? "How are you feeling?"

    "Like shit." I say with a small smile. "Thanks for saving me."

    "No problem Red."

    "I love you Ecco."

    "I love you to Alexa." She says with a huge smile. 

    "I know I don't have a ring and this isn't the most romantic way but-"

    "Yes I would love to marry you." I smile at her I'm the happiest I've been in along time. "You're the first person who truly cares about me and I would love to marry you Red."

     "You are the best fiance I could ask for."

~Magical look into the future~

    "Ecco?" She's completely still. "Ecco please you have to wake up." I beg. "Wake up please Ecco you're my light I need you. Please I don't what I'll do if I lose you."

    "She's gone."

    "No she's not. She's ok. She's going to wake up. She has to." I plead.
