Dani POV
I had gotten a call from jazz early in the morning about wanting to have a meeting with me , Danny and Carrie. She didn't explain much but to meet at her house to talk, that Sam wouldn't be home. I made my way to the guarded gate and put in jazz's house code. I forgot how nice the neighborhood was where she lived nothing fancy but modern.I passed a few houses til I got to hers. I noticed Danny's car parked out front. I walked up the steps and rang the door bell. ("Strange to have a meeting this early in the day") I thought , we usually don't have them but lately we've had due to ghost getting more powerful. Jazz walked up to the door and welcomed me inside there was danny , tucker and Carrie.

Danny's POV
I was in class when I got the call, Carrie had called me saying jazz wanted us over at her house to have a meeting. I waited til class was over to call jazz about this. She didn't say much but that it was about Sam and she needed everyone. This couldn't be good from the tone she told me. I picked up Carrie from the library and went to pick up tucker.The car ride felt awkward and silent til Tucker broke the silence

Tucker : " you don't think anything bad happened do you Danny?"
Carrie: " I hope not..."
Danny: " same here I wouldn't want anything to happen to Sam "

I continued on driving til I got to the gate and put in the code for jazzs place. I parked into the driveway and we all go out and rang the doorbell. Jazz greeted us saying "hi" and to come in, she had some fruit on the table and waters by the couch.

Jazz: " we're just waiting on Dani and then we'll talk"

*ding dong*...

Carries POV
The fact that I don't know Sam much still worried me as to what's happened and what the meeting is about. With all the ghost trouble we've had , someone getting hurt wouldn't be good and plus with all the stress we've been feeling taking a toll on us.

No ones POV

Everyone sat down and waited for the meeting to begin. Jazz made her way to a chair that sat in the middle of the room.She let out a sigh and looked up to everyone.

Jazz: " I know your all wondering what the meeting is about... it's about Sam. Last night when I got back from work the door was unlocked and I went to check on Sam. There was a black figure over Sam..."

Everyone sat there in awe, processing what jazz just said. Carrie broke the silence by saying-

Carrie: " what was it doing to Sam?"
Jazz: " well from what I can tell it was projecting this green mist onto her body to absorb it"
Danny: " maybe it's a ghost we know, like johnnys shadow"
Jazz: " i can't be it didn't look like his shadow.I couldn't find what it was in that ghost file you sent me either so I sketched it out and what was on Sam's arms as well"
Tucker: " her arms ?"
Jazz: " when I went to check on Sam I noticed her veins were letting out a green glow"
Tucker: "hmm I'd have to get a blood test from Sam and see if there's anything in her blood stream"
Carrie: " Sam must have been so scared..."
Dani: " wait does Sam even know anything about this?"
Jazz: " ..."

Everyone looked at jazz again and Danny looked at jazz with a serious look and said "does she?" Everyone looked and could read the expression on her face.

Jazz: "no she doesn't but trust me I do but not for now"
Tucker : " you'll have to jazz ,how else would I get the blood test"
Danny: " she has to know jazz Incase she faces whatever this thing is again"
Jazz: "that why I asked you all to come. Sam's been through a lot then you guys might know. I don't wanna put her through anything else"
Tucker: " we get what your saying jazz but still it's not right to keep secrets from someone especially Sam"
Carrie: " their right jazz, I understand if you don't want to tell her right away and I have an idea"
Dani: " what is it Carrie?"
Carrie: "well we could watch over Sam , take turns and catch this ghost in the act"
Tucker: " and we can use the ghost detector I've been working on, it'll alert of if anything in the room excluding you guys of course"
Carrie: "we'll collect information and come up with a plan on what to do with it"
Jazz: "I'll let sam know when she gets back from her trip so she won't feel uncomfortable"
Danny: " it's a plan then, tonight  I'll patrol with tucker and tomorrow Carrie and Dani will go"
Dani: " what time do you get home jazz? So we can come set up everything"
Jazz: " I usually get home late but last night it was around midnight"
Carrie: " at around 10:00 we'll patrol then and see if we can find anything"
Jazz: " sounds good then"
Danny : " alright I'll see you later , I have to help Carrie go shop for a dress"
Tucker: " I got to go too . Have some things to do at city hall see you guys"
Dani: " I'll stay here til Sam gets back"

The meeting ended and everyone went their separate ways except Dani. She stayed to look and see if anything was left from the figure. She made her way upstairs to Sam's room (" cool room") she thought looking around. She scanned the room for any evidence when she spotted something poking from under the bed. It was a shoe box , she opened it and took out a picture...
"No way..."

~A FEW HOURS LATER~

Sam arrived from her trip and took out her Key to unlock the door. She opened it to see a girls back facing her from the kitchen talking with jazz. They were laughing til jazz spotted Sam and gestured her to come over. "Hey Sam come say hi". Sam closed the door and hung up her purse, walked over to the kitchen. Dani turned to Sam and smiled letting out a "hey long time no see" sam couldn't believe it, it was Dani but she looked so different. Her hair was much longer and had layers to it, plus her height which made her taller almost to Danny. She hugged her and smiled being so happy to see her.

Sam: " Dani! I can't believe it's you, it's been so long since I've seen you"
Dani: " well you know traveling and fighting ghost is a full time job for me"
Sam: " I'm so happy to see you, what brings you here"
Dani: "... well jazz and I wanted to talk to you about something"
Sam: " sure what is it?"
Jazz: "take a seat first"

Sam pulled a stool and sat at the counter facing jazz and Dani. Jazz made her way next to Dani to give a more equal approach.

Dani: " Sam told me and the others that something happened last night that you might not remember"
Jazz: " last night I saw this well found a figure hovering over you in your sleep, it was transferring some kind of mist into you and ran away when I caught it"
Sam: "..."

Sam couldn't believe what she just heard from their mouths. Sam had felt as though something had been watching her since she came back but shrugged it off thinking it was nothing. But now she realized it was something. Maybe it was causing her skin reaction lately. She sat silent trying to collect her thoughts.

Jazz: " I couldn't determine what it was but no need to worry that's why... I had a meeting with Dani,Carrie,tucker and Danny"
Dani: " we're worried about you Sam, especially Danny and jazz. We're trying to track down and find out what this thing is and what it's plan is. So we'll be keeping an eye on you til further notice especially at night"
Jazz: " Danny will be patrolling with tucker tonight, if your not comfortable with this arrangement we can put Dani instead with tucker"
Sam: " no!, I- I mean it's fine , thank you for looking out for me especially you jazz. You've been a big help since I've came."
Jazz: " that's what friends are for"
Dani: "Tucker's gonna set up some stuff before tonight"
Sam: " alright thanks"
Jazz: " well with that taken care of who wants tea"
Dani: " me please"
Sam: "Give me a grande"

Jazz went to the cupboard and took out three cups and some tea leaves. As jazz was making the tea Dani looked at Sam as she drank some water and faced her with a smirky look.

Dani: " I sensed a bit of harshness in that NO earlier..."
Sam choked a bit in her water and looked at Dani with red cheeks. Dani let out a laugh holding her stomach.

Dani: " your face is red as a tomato Samantha"
Sam: " no it's not and don't call me that"
Dani: " alright sammy~ but on a serious note just know I'm here for you okay , you can talk with me about anything alright"
Sam: " I'll keep that in mind Dani"

They spent the afternoon talking and chatting while drinking their tea and teasing Sam. Eventually Dani had to leave and go do some things of her own. Jazz went into her office to work and Sam went to her room and locked the front door before she left. She opened the door and kneeled down to grab something from under bed. She pulled out a shoe box and opened in to look inside she grasped a photo inside and looked deeply into the photo.

"I hope your doing well.. Ezra ..."
