We started walking around. We found some cool 1940 or 1950 valuables. I, of course split up without telling them, and I regretted that. I walked around and found a closet. I opened it to find a horrid smell. I covered my nose with my hand and looked down to hope it was rotting meat. I found rotting meat, but it wasn't animal meat. It was a human. I remembered a missing poster from 3 days ago. I looked at the face. The same 13 year old I saw in that poster. I looked at his body. I saw blood coming from his right leg and his torso. I counted the stab wounds in his shirt. 13 stab wounds. It looks like he bled out about 2 days ago. It doesn't look like he struggled, but it wasn't a suicide. He would've died by the time he reached two stab wounds, and it seems he ran away, and got stabbed in his leg. It was cold-blooded murder. So young and getting killed by maybe 26 or a 36 year old man. I stood there frozen to find a human body, rotting. I'd never think I'd find that in my discovery. All this because of truth or dare.
I woke up from my disgust. And let out a scream you'd hear from a horror movie. My friends came barging in, confused. "What's wrong?" Angelo said, shaken. "T-The body of that 13 year old." My friends look in the closet then back at me. "Dude, scare us like that." Angelo said, jokingly. I look at them, in obvious confusion. I soon realised how this house works. If you enter the house alone, you see things that nobody else sees. On the Contrary, if you enter as a group, you can't see it. "You must be scared, let's try to find a way out of here before he has a heart attack." Elliot said, laughing. So, I left first. I saw a dark figure, standing about 6'7 feet tall, with horns and glowing eyes. standing down the hall leading to the living room. I stared at it, wondering if I really was hallucinating or not. We walked past the bathroom. I took a peek inside. I saw a blood filled bathtub with blood running down the sides, and a sink that was pouring blood. My friends looked inside the bathroom as well. To them, it was all just water. I looked for a while, until I realised my friends had gone. I looked around, desperately trying to find them. I saw this figure again, but it was closer. It was alot taller than I thought 7'9 feet and it had eyes of a hawk. It followed my every movement. Down to the invisible breaths that I took while I was in this state of shock. It came closer and I took off running. It wasn't behind me. I stopped knowing it would be in front of me. I'd had watched enough horror movies and read enough horror books to know that that's most like where it's going to be. I turned around, creeping slowly and headed upstairs. I heard the calling of my friends. I called to them at the last step "I'm up here! Up here!" I turned around patiently waiting for them. And I saw this hallway. I said "I'm going down this hallway!" My friends came up and I could here them mumbling. I could make out what they were saying "What hallway should we go down?" Angelo said. They split up. 2 went to the left and 1 went to the right. I called to them again "Guys, I'm in the hallway in the middle!". They couldn't hear me. I was in a breeze of wind blowing into my left ear. I saw a door that I assumed was a meet up in the middle. I went through and saw Elliot and Antonio. "Where were you?" Antonio said. "I was in the middle hallway." I responded. "Where is Angelo?" I asked. "He should be coming down the right hallway." Antonio responded. We waited for 5 minutes and got worried. Both hallways were of the same length. We went into the right hallway. We found his lifeless body slumped against the wall. "Angelo!" Antonio cried. I sat there, quietly sobbing. Elliot puking at the pure sight of his eyes rolled in the back of his head. Is that why the figure that was once chasing me dissapeared waiting for us to be alone? He's picking us off one by one.
"Guys, we need to stay together." Elliot suggested, as if Angelo wasnt on the ground, dead.
