After I had passed out, hugging Jo, we were all sent home early. Jo tried to wake me up, but he couldn't so he took me to his place. I had woken up, Jo was watching the news. I remember this so clearly.
"A 16 year old girl, named Charolette, has been classified as missing. She can't be found anywhere and hasn't made any contact with her parents. We pray for her safety, and from this day forward all school will be cancelled. Since it's June, school would end soon. So the governor has decided to close down all the school and urges anyone to not go outside unless it's to work or shop. All stores are to remain open, all workers are to keep their jobs, unless they're fired of course. Thank you for listening, please stay safe. We will find Charolette."
I looked at Jo, he was crying. He didn't say anything, he didn't flinch or do anything. He's just crying. "They're going to find her, okay? They are going to find her." I said firmly.
Jo left the room. I don't know where he went. I fell asleep shortly afterwards. Here I am now. I miss Charlie. She's not mine to miss, she's Jo's. I got up from my bed and walked to Jo.
"Hey, Jo? Are you okay?" I asked. He didn't respond. My phone suddenly vibrated. I checked my phone and started to hear ringing. Everything is so blurry i can't check the text message. I put my phone down and the ringing stop. Everything was so clear. I checked my phone again and the message disappeared.
"Are you okay?" Jo asked. I nodded. I don't know what happened to me, could Charlie be dead? Could she be haunting me because I was a horrible friend? I'm sorry Charlie. Please I hope you can forgive me one day. I'm sorry.
