It was your birthday, a day that you've been dreading for the whole year because you could spend time with friends and your boyfriend, Ashton. It was difficult because Ashton was away for tour and your were afraid he couldn't come. Of course he can't make it, you said mentally to yourself.
It was night time, the time to celebrate your birthday with friends. You wore a dark blue dress that brought out your skin tone. You also wore matching heals to top the look. You were busy entertaining guests, that you forgot Ashton. Oh right, he's not here, you thought.
After two hours, he still hasn't arrived. You began to worry. You didn't even receive any greeing from him. Did he forget your birthday? Ugh, maybe he totally did, you thought again.
As you went over to the drinks station to calm yourself down, a pair of hands covered your eyes. "Happy Birthday!" You knew that voice from somewhere. Of course it was Ash.
"You came!" You turned around and hugged him. "I really missed you, (Y/N)." He says, hugging you tighter. After that, both of you went to the dance floor and slow danced.
