I read my novel in peace outside of Mystic Grills. Damon and Alaric went inside to have a drink at 8 o'clock in the morning. Alaric came back to his normal self 3 weeks ago with no memory fo what had happened except remembering he slept in his bed and woke up sore.

I didn't say anything since I had enough of getting involved by the doppelgänger.

"Hello, little moon." I heard the familiar voice greet as I sigh shutting my novel and looking up seeing Niklaus.

"Ah, the Big Bad Wolf had finally appeared. If you are here for the doppelgänger, go down to hell street you might find her there." I gave a fake smile towards him as he let out a chuckle.

"You still haven't changed one bit. Still have the demon's fire inside of you. May I?" He indicated a seat in front of me and I sigh shrugging my shoulders letting him sit down.

"What do you want with me Niklaus." I ask looking at him straight in the eyes as he takes my hand that was on the table and kissed my knuckles softly while staring into my eyes.

"For your forgiveness, love." He whispers in a soft tone and I hum removing my hand from his while my heart aches a little.

"Charming. Try another centuries and maybe I'll consider it." I said about to get my book when he snatches it placing it in front of him. He covers my novel with his body as he leans closer to the table giving me a smirk.

I let out a soft frustrated sigh pinching the bridge of my nose.

"I am only asking you for your forgiveness love. Nothing more." He says and I look at him with a blank expression. Memories flash in my head causing me to close my eyes and push back the tears that are threatening to fall. My heart aches from both pain and longing as I let out a soft sigh opening my eyes again.

"I cannot forgive you, Niklaus." I say standing up and walking away from him leaving my book with him. I heard him stand up grabbing my arm as I glared at him, but my eyes soften a bit.

"Why not? Please, just forgive me. It is all I ask of you." He begs and I yanked my arm away from him.

"I cannot forgive you Niklaus. Do you not understand what I am saying?" I question as two tears fall down my cheek before I could stop them. Niklaus looks at me with pain and sadness as he reaches towards me, but I slapped his hand away from me backing away.

"Do not touch me, Niklaus Mikaelson. You broke my heart centuries ago and you think that when I have already calmed down, you come running up to me begging for my forgiveness? I am not a fool Niklaus, I have watched you for centuries after I left thinking that you would have changed, but you have not changed. You run with women, slept with them, take them out on dates while I watch you in pain. I have wasted all my life to you when I could have been with Elijah all along. Hell, even Kol! Or Finn, but no...I choose you." Tears slid down as he stares at me with shock and tears. He looks down guilt running through him as I let out a dry humorless chuckle.
