"Do we really need to lie to them about where we are?" Elijah asks as he throws a dead vampire to a hole he made.

"Elijah, you know how they are when it comes to protecting. They are very stubborn, mostly Klaus. If we told them that their mother sent vampire mercenaries to me then they'll come here and our plan will go to dust." I told him and he sighs dusting his hands clean.

"I suppose you are right." He mutters taking a shovel and he began covering the hole up.

"What should we do after this?" He asks as he fills the hole up with dirt. I start a medium campfire and threw the white oak in it as it burns.

"Stay out of cities and small town. I know a cabin not too far from Mystic Falls, but far enough from the society." I told him as he nodded and keeps shoveling.

"Need a hand?" I ask and he looks at me sweat slightly beading from his forehead.

"Yes, actually." He tells me and I snap my fingers as all the dirt covers the hole he once was filling up. He looks at the small mountain dirt before looking at me with a could have done that look. I chuckled softly as I turn to look at the flames.

"Still can't believe mother tries to kill you." He mutters and I shrug my shoulders.

"Can you blame her? I am a threat to her. With one flick of my wrist she is dead from the spot." I told him as we watch the white oak burn.

"I guess you are right. That is what Mikaelsons do, they kill the threat before the threat kills them." He sighs and I chuckled.

"To Klaus is using the threat then kill it." I grin as he chuckles agreeing with me.

"Why did mother gave that vampire a white oak? It can't kill you, can it?" He asks and I shook my head.

"No, darling. It can't, but having vampire blood in me, it can only weaken me to the point I can barely stand." I told him honestly as he nodded understandingly.

"I see." He mutters as we kept our eyes towards the flame. We stood there in silence as the soft wind blows at us.

"Promise me something." He says and I hum looking at him.

"Never leave us again. I don't think any of us can barely take it anymore if you disappear from our lives." He says as he turns to look at me.

"I promise." I nodded and he smiles as he and I hug each other. We pulled away as I stopped the fire after seeing the white oak stake into ashes.

"We should go, now." I told him and he nodded. We left the area to get away from the evidence.

"What are you doing here?" Rebekah asks glaring at Finn whom only stood there.

"Mother told me to follow you which I did." Finn says and Klaus growls at him only making Finn raise his hand towards him to stop Klaus from attacking him.
