"Oh my gosh." I stare at him. "What?" he asks looking confused. "I didn't say anything, did I?" I shake my head. "You said oh my gosh." he says mocking my tone and laughing. My face becomes hot. Just like Hunter. My mother and father enter the room and ask to change spots. "Why don't you sit by Hunter, Hazeline?" my mother says. I rise and take a seat by Hunter. "Your name is Hazeline? You never introduced yourself to me." Hunter says quietly as the adults start to talk about business. "Oh yes, sorry. I'm Hazeline." I say giggling. "You've got a beautiful name, fitting for a beautiful girl." He says, his face the shade of a tomato. I blush, "Thank you." He smiles and then turns towards his mother. I look at my father wishing he would excuse me. He continues talking and I roll my eyes. "Would you like to show Hunter around?" Mother asks. "I will show him around, yes ma'am." I get up and gesture for him to follow me. I exit the door and he follows me down the hallway. "I was dying to leave that meeting." Hunter says. "Me too, are you usually forced to sit through all of them?" "Yeah pretty much." He laughs. His laugh makes me die a little inside. "Do you know what this conference is about?" I say turning a corner going towards the throne room. "You don't know?" he says becoming quieter. "No, they never tell me. I usually figure it out for myself." I stop at the door and turn around to face him. "Our kingdom got destroyed in battle, we're asking for assistance. Do you think they would let us stay here? That's what they're discussing." Hunter says, his voice can make anything sound nice. I look into his eyes and lose my train of thought. "Oh... Um... Sorry, I was..." I trailed off. "You were what?" he says smirking. "I just got lost in your eyes. What were you saying?" I try to smile but force myself to turn and open the door to the throne room. "Shameless... I like it." Hunter says following me. I keep walking but with a big smile on my face. "This is the throne room." I say throwing up my hand to show. "It's pretty cool." he says calmly, do you have a courtyard?" He says walking in circles. "Yes we do. Follow me!" I say and pick up the pace seeing if he tries to catch up. He does. He's already chasing me. I swing open the door and when I reach outside I slow down. I walk to the gate and look out beyond the gate. "What're you waiting for?" he tempts me. "I can't go past this gate..." I say sighing. "One day, I'm going to take you to see the world. Would you want to go?" he says. I feel my face turning red once again. "Yes, please." I smile looking at him while he looks at me. He really is the most gorgeous guy I've ever seen, and I've seen lots of guys. "Hunter? Hazeline?" I hear our parents voices. "Yes?" we say together and laugh. "Hazeline, we have decided to allow the Eastwoods to stay with us until their kingdom is repaired, or at least until the battle dies down." The families look at us. "Are you two okay with this?" Hunter's father asks. "Yes sir," we say together again. "I'm fine with it, we're actually friends now." Hunter says smiling. "Okay darling. Would you show Hunter to his room? His quarters will be the room across from yours." Hunter gestures for me to go first, I courtsey and lead him up to his room. "Where's your room?" He asks and I point to the room directly across from his. "Good, you're not too far away." he says. "No I'm not," I smile. "If you need anything just knock on my door." I begin towards my room when he calls, "Goodnight Hazel." I've never been called Hazel before, but I like it when he says it. "Hazel?" I laugh. "Yes, I'm calling you Hazel. Unless you don't want me to." he looks down. "No Hazel's fine, as long as you're the only one calling me that." I say. "Goodnight Hunter." and close the door to my room. I take off my dress and slip into my nightgown. That's when I remember the bird. I walk up to the cage and look at him. He's a blueish color with a little green. I've never seen a bird like this before. "Hello." I say to him. "If you're to stay, you must have a name." I think and think but I can't think of name that fits him. I shrug and lie down in my bed. I can't get my mind off Hunter long enough to think of a decent name for the bird. I wonder if he could ever fall in love with me. I never really believed in love at first sight... Then I saw Hunter Eastwood.
