Pan has done it again. I see the flicker of light bloom in the sky as a new star is added to Pan's constellation. He has brought a new Lost Boy to Neverland. I watch the star, waiting. They will soon be close enough that I should be able to get a look at the newcomer.
Slowly at first, then quicker as the approach Neverland's shores, I see something very peculiar. Pan does not have a boy in tow. Rather, he is a beautiful young girl. My brow furrows and I lean against the rocks behind me. He swore after the last one that he would never bring girls here.
I straighten, sheathing my sword.
"Tink!" My voice booms as I command the Fairie's presence.
She appears, standing but one foot tall. Her blonde hair is tugged into a long braid and she wears a knee length loose dress.
"Hook?" She responds, glancing over her shoulder towards Pan and the girl as they land on the shore below the cliffs we stand on. "He's brought a girl." She states in disgust.
I nod. "We have to get to her before she find him."
Tink nods. "He will ruin her if we don't."
I look down sympathetically at her. "We can't let that happen."
"No girl should endure this fate." Tink adds, reaching over her shoulder to touch her translucent wings.
"Come then."
Tink lifts off the ground, her wings beating quickly to keep up with me. I will find that girl. Pan won't win this time, not after what he did to Tink.
"What will you do?" Tink asks, her voice sweeter and higher pitched than it used to be before Pan turned her into a Fairy.
I glance over my shoulder at her and then back to the rocks path leading down the cliffs. "Pan swore he would never bing a girl here again." I feel my eyes grow dark and quickly take a deep breath, reigning my evil in. I won't fall back into my dark ways. "I am simply going to remind him of that." I answer when I've gained control over the side of me that wants to do evil things.
