The sun came up that wonderful morning. From a four poster bed there was a tall figure that moved a bit but never got up. An alarm went off. Finally deciding to get up the tall man got up and fixed his bed.

After fixing it he headed to his bedroom shower to wash up and sing a bit.

Lucius' pov:

I undressed and saw myself in front of the large body mirror. 3 months of getting in shape was worth it. Having the 6 pack abs I always wanted. I was chubby as a boy as my mom always says.

I showered and sang in the bathroom and lathered my jet black wavy hair as I still looked in the mirror as naked as I was born.  I was refreshed since it was already summer season and it's getting hot especially in the mornings.

I am Lucius Marshall. I am a straight a student in my student days and I was well loved by my parents. The perfect son as they call it. Although I was an only son I was their pride and joy.

I combed my hair nicely and went down. I was living in an apartment alone since I want to live independently. I work in an office but today is my day off. And I feel that today is going to be awesome.

Third Person's pov:

Back in the Devildom a search was still ongoing for more than 20 years. It was the king that ordered for the search. It's been 20 years since his traitorous ex has left Devildom and seemed to have vanished under the radar.

He tried to get it out of his son but he said that he's off somewhere else and he couldn't reach him. Even if he wanted to help even he didn't know where his papa was.

"Stop the search dad." Abbadon's voice rang in his ears. He didn't want to stop searching. It was because he didn't receive a punishment yet. This is what he wanted to believe. But deep inside he just wanted to see him again.

He had the whole case investigated. The evidence were all fake. Marid and her father faked them. All because Marid wanted to be  queen. He won't give her that. Instead he punished the ones who did it. He wanted to look for him and make up for everything he did wrong.

He also had Caim investigated. He looked suspicious to him. He went somewhere almost everyday. Even his uncles also went somewhere.

Diavolo's pov:

I was in a meeting when my personal assistant, Barbatos came in and reported to me.
"Caim is going somewhere. After following him almost everyday I finally figured it out." He said handing me a phial of potion.

"This is something he uses to camouflage a place he always went to. He also wanted to keep this secret that only he and his uncle knows." He said which made me interested.

"Tomorrow... Cancel all my meetings and paperworks. I'll see to where he goes to. And you'll be coming with me." I told him.
"As you wish."

I cannot wait for tomorrow to come. I wanted to see what Caim hides from me. He has a life here in the palace. What could be so interesting that keeps his attention and makes him go there everyday?

I sat on my chair. I wanted to go to sleep but my brain and heart doesn't want to. All I can think about is Lucifer. The demon that made me whole and yet all I gave him was pain and hatred.

I just wanted him to go back to me and I want to tell him that I never signed those divorce papers. Yes I kept it for 2 years in my study. But when I came to realize everything was Marid's fault I ripped that in front of everyone in the whole Devildom.

I felt relief when I did it. I decided to drink tea as I reminisced how I killed Marid and her father.
They were agonizing in pain and anguish when I tortured them.

Morning came and I set my plan into action with Barbatos. Caim left at the same time Barbatos told me he would. To my surprise it took half the day to have him followed and he stopped. It was deep in the woods but he stopped nowhere in particular. It looked like it was in the center of the forest.

Slowly he chanted a spell and some sort of shield broke. He went in and fortunately he forgot to close it up. We got in and figured out what was hiding in there. A cave.

We got in and saw Caim stop. This is it.

"Why're you following me?" He asked not turning to me. I took a deep breath and replied.
"I want to know where you're going all these time."

He sighed.
"Please leave." He requested calmly.
"No. I won't I just want to know what you're hiding here." I said firmly.
"I'm not hiding anything! Look this is my cave. I mean... My personal space. I don't want anyone ruining it." He defended himself.

"You're lying to me." I muttered. When he clenches his hand.
"No. I'm not. I just want to have my own time alone. Please leave.-" he was interrupted when a booming voice came.

"Stop. Both of you." A familiar voice and figure came to light.
"F-Father? You're alive?" I asked. I was puzzled. We buried him in the Mausoleum.

"Yes. You might be wondering how and why. It's simple, I faked my death. You see there are demons who wants your husband dead. They're poisoning him bit by bit. Which I noticed. You were too busy to see and too trusting to see that the demons close to you were the ones who plotted it." He chuckled bitterly.

"Father... Where is Lucifer? I know that you know where he is." I told him and kneeled.
"You're asking where papa is? Hah. Even if we knew we will never ever tell you." Caim smirked and looked at his grandfather.

"Caim... He's got a right to know where your papa is." Was my father's reply to him. Caim wanted to protest but his grandpa stopped him.

"Follow me." He said which we did and we ended up in the most secluded part of the cave. Where there are more enchantments and shields. Father tore those shields up and we went inside a smaller cave.

And when we did I was surprised to what I see. Laying down on some kind of a slab of stone was my husband. Lucifer Morningstar. The demon I haven't seen for 20 years.

I wanted to run to him but Caim stopped me.
"There's an enchantment around him. You can never touch him." He explained.
"Who put a shield around him?"

"He did. Before he finally rested he used a quarter of his powers to protect and preserve what was left of him." He answered.

I slowly approached the remains and tried to touch him. A forcefield stopped me.
"What did you do to him?" I asked Caim. He looked really sad.
"Nothing. We just did what we had to to protect him from you for the time being. But he's the one who didn't want to go back." He explained to me.

"Go back? Why? Where is he?" I asked still puzzled.
"He drank the forget me potion." Father answered and it made me freeze.
The forget me potion is the strongest amnesia potion there is. It not only makes a demon forget something. But everything. Even his own life as a demon. Everything that holds importance to him will be gone.

"Is he...?" I asked.
"Still alive? No and Yes. No because he died 20 years ago as a demon. Yes. Because he's leading a new life now somewhere in the human realm. Please don't ruin his life there." Father replied. I cannot believe what he said... Don't ruin his life there.

But I want to see him again. I want to apologize to him and beg him to come back to us.
"I know what you're thinking. You messed up. You know it. You shouldn't destroy his new life as a human. Learn to respect his decision."

"I'm selfish father. So I won't follow you." I told him as I set foot to the human realm. I don't want to let him go. I don't want to see him be happy with someone else. I will be his only partner in this life and the next.

I just want to be with him again.
