Diavolo's pov:

I took a deep breath and thought of him. Hard.
Luci... Please come back to me. I know I messed up. But please. Give me a chance to prove to you I can be a husband you deserve.

Memories of the past started to flow into my mind. The first day we met, how I became his master, how we fell in love with each other, our first night together. Even our wedding I always professed my love for him.

His beautiful eyes and soft skin was always in my mind. How he kissed me and how I kissed him back they were all etched into my mind. And then finally I heard a very familiar voice.

"What do you want?" His cold and uncaring voice stabbed my heart hard. Lucifer. I opened my eyes to see we were in the middle of nowhere and nothingness.
"Luci..." I called out to him.

"I don't want you calling me that." He told me. He was really Lucifer. The Lucifer I always loved.
"Lucifer... I want you to go home with me. Please." I begged.
"No." His answer was very short and simple. But I don't want to understand that.

"Lucifer. I'm very sorry. Please. I love you. I love you so much. My life were in shambles these past 20 years." I was already kneeling in front of him and he was so heartless. "I cannot live without you."

He looked at me with fury in his eyes. He looked at me like he was hearing nonsense from some kind of trash.
"You can! You didn't try to take your life so you can live another eternity without me. Look... When I left I was already happy. No responsibility no hard time... I was finally free Diavolo. I can finally be myself. I don't care if I have a shortened life span." He still refused to take me back.

"Lucifer... Don't you even love me anymore?" I ask. It was the only lifeline I know. So... I asked it.
"I... I don't know. Diavolo... You didn't even let me explain my side of the whole story. And... You were one of the reasons why my Lucas died. Plus, you were the one who said it was all over between us." He made sure I will fall defeated once he dropped all of those on me.

"All I ask of you is another chance." I still pushed.
"Another chance to what? Destroy me completely again? Diavolo... I won't come back. Why don't you leave me alone? I want to be a normal person now."

"Lucifer... I love you, alright? If you ever change your mind the whole Devildom is still open for you... Everyone will be waiting for you there." I smiled bitterly at him and I finally decided to let him go.

"Those who are responsible for my father's case and tried to poison you are long gone." I decided I won't push anything anymore and give him up.

I turned and was about to walk away when he called my name.
"Dia..."
"It's been years since you called me that Luci." I said as I looked at him with all the sincerity I had for him since day one.

"Maybe I can forgive you. Maybe not. Only time can tell. Can you wait for me?" Those words made me freeze in where I was standing.

"Of course. I'd wait even though it takes me a whole lifetime. Just give me a chance." He smiled back as he turned back.
"I love you Dia... I always did."

Another 40 years have passed and seasons have changed in the human world. An old man walks through the cold of the winter season and sighed.

"Another 40 years have passed and nothing have changed here. Except for a few schools that was developed." He says and sat on one of the benches in the streetside.

It's been years since he met the one, fell in love but never had any kids with her. He wasn't sad or anything. He lived his days in pure happiness and peace.
