Dear Diary,
That day was so easy, it feels like. His sweet blue eyes meeting mine, he looked up for the first time. I remember the feeling, when I first saw them. It was like being slapped in the face, but it didn't hurt. I had to catch my breath, but I couldn't show it. We sat there, lost in time. While the rest of the world was moving, we couldn't seem to break the connection. As the 2 boys who bullied me shot passed. Skyler sat there, looking almost dead. Like me the color must have drained from his face. But almost like they never knew us, they ran passed. Then I noticed, they were running from something. Or someone. I frantically looked around, scared I would have to run too, bad thoughts bouncing threw my mind. In that second I spotted the police. Fear shot threw me, but at the same time I was excited, and revived. I would finally not have to worry about the easy thing.
Sincerely, iris
