Loki laid on his stomach in his room, a spell book out in front of him. His hands waved in the air, and he tried muttering simple spells under his breath. A small flash of light would form around his hands and something minor would happen. A lamp would change into a piece of parchment, or an apple sitting at his desk would disappear.

Things were peaceful until Thor burst into the room with a soft groan, "Loki, why are you indoors on such a lovely day?"

Loki barely looked up from his book, "I don't require sun to survive, Thor."

Thor grinned and he walked in, sitting down beside his brother, looking over his shoulder at the book, "Spells? Haven't you mastered most of the spells in that book already?"

"It's good to refresh so your mind doesn't turn to mush," Loki shut the book and turned his head to look at Thor, "Can I help you with something?"

Thor shrugged, looking out the window, "Well.. I've been quite underwhelmed as of late. I was hoping you could help me."

"You mean bored," Loki outright stated. Thor nodded. Loki continued, "Well, I'm content being in here with my books. Are not Fandral or Volstagg willing to keep you occupied?"

Thor shook his head, "I..." he huffed, finally admitting, "I wanted to do something with you, brother. You've been so distant as of late."

Loki listened to Thor and he responded with, "You may stay in here with me, if you wish. Just so long as you aren't annoying."

Thor brightened upon hearing this and he kicked off his boots, getting comfortable on the bed, "Wonderful! Just like old times, hm?" he sat up by the headboard and leaned against the pillows.

Loki grinned softly, "Old times would include you strangling me nearly to death," he reopened his book.

Thor barked out a laugh and he remarked, "Ihit was called wrestling. Not my fault you never understood the concept."

"You were larger than me, so how was I to escape?"

"I gave you ample opportunities for a reprieve," Thor crossed his arms over his chest as the two of them bickered.

Loki looked behind him and eyed Thor, since he was still laying on his stomach with his head at the foot of the bed, "You're stubborn."

Thor chortled, "What an astute observation."

There was a silence and Loki went back to reading. But he was the same one to break the silence when he said, "You cheated an awful lot back then."

Thor chuckled, "I used my opponent's weakness to my advantage. It wasn't my fault you were so sensitive," he experimentally stroked a finger down Loki's nearby sole.

The dark haired god squeaked and he kicked his foot out. Thor's eyes widened and he acted quickly, tackling his flailing brother and pinning him.

"Loki! You didn't tell me you were still ticklish!" Thor smiled excitedly.

Loki's eyes held slight fear in them but mostly apprehension as he struggled to escape from Thor's hold. But the minute he felt a single, teasing finger tracing shapes on his side and belly, he couldn't suppress a giggle.

"These are astounding news, brother," Thor smirked before sitting up properly as he straddled Loki. Then he kneaded into his boney hips.

Loki jolted as if a shock was sent through him and he squeaked, trying to turn his face to hide the embarrassing noises he was making.

"T-Thohor! Nnnohoho!"

Thor grinned and he took the arms Loki was trying to cover his face with and lifted them over his head. Pinning them with one strong hand, the blonde proceeded to circle fingers in his now exposed hollows.

Loki tossed his head back. He gasped and let out a few laughs, unable to help himself now.

"Nonono! Thohohohohor! Ehehehehahahaha! Dohohon't!"

Thor smiled and he was taken back to all those years of doing this to Loki when they were children. It was an indisputable way to make Loki laugh, even when he was feeling lonesome or depressed. It was good to know the methods still worked.

But what Thor had forgotten was that Loki was no longer a young, scrawny child. He was a trained trickster, and even a sorcerer when properly applied. So the God of Thunder did not expect a sudden buzzing feeling to travel the length of his sides and ribs.

Thor belted out a surprised laugh and he hugged his arms around his middle, releasing Loki.

"Lohohoki! Whahahahat ahare you dohoing? Hahahahaha!"

Loki panted and he chuckled, "I'm fighting bahack," and he sat up to claw into Thor's toned abdomen.

Thor fell back onto the bed, "NAHAHOHOHO! HAHAHAHAhahaHAHAHA!"

Loki giggled mischievously, continuing to use magic to tickle Thor to keep him subdued as he wrecked him with his fingers as well. Unlike Loki, Thor was unashamed to laugh as boisterously as he pleased. He was having fun. There was no need to hide his laughter.

"You're more sensitive than I am, brother," Loki chuckled, scraping away at Thor's ribs and jabbing in between the bones.

Thor jerked around and laughed crazily. But he bucked Loki off, to which the other yelped, and he continued giggling as the ghost tickles remained. But he squeezed right above Loki's kneecap repeatedly and that drove him up the wall.

Loki shrieked, "AHAHAHA! NOHOHOHO THOR!! STOHOHOPPIT!"

Thor beamed and he kept it up, "You've cured my boredom, dear brother. I thank you."
