Joan always dreamt of having a mum. Every single birthday when she blew out the candles her wish was for a mum. Recently her ideas of a mum had been Jane. Whenever she dreamt and fantasized about it she'd always see Jane, she'd see Jane Hugging her when she was upset , she'd see Jane clapping when she got her piano notes right. It was always Jane but she already had a daughter of course she wouldn't want another. She had kitty and she was practically everything you'd ever want in a daughter, she wouldn't admit it but she was Jealous of her. Jealous everytime Jane hugged her and told her how beautiful and perfect she was. She wanted that for herself
Her train of thought was interrupted by Anna "JOAN IT'S FAMILY MOVIE TIME!!!" she carefully walked downstairs and saw jane sat in the middle of the sofa with kat curled Into her side, Anne and Cathy cuddling on the chair and Anna and Catherine giggling away as they sat on beanbags beside eachother. She Awkwardly took a seat next to Jane wishing she could Cuddle into her but she couldn't.
It was Anna's turn to choose the movie , she was a huge horror fan and chose to watch 'It'. Joan hated horror movies so she prayed she wouldn't Embarrass herself.
At the first jump scare she practically threw herself into Janes lap, she apologized profusely. Jane wasn't awkward about it, she knew Joan was scared so she pulled her in for a hug. Joan sighed contently without thinking she said "Thank you mummy" all the whispering stopped and Everyone turned and faced Joan. She jumped away and ran upstairs to her room "I'm so stupid!!!!" She cried and Jane knocked on her door
"I'm so sorry I didn't mea-" she was interrupted by Jane whispering "I'd love to be your mummy" Joan was taken aback she didn't know what to say or do, everything she'd ever wanted was coming true. Jane pulled her into her lap and kissed her temple "Do you want that Joan?" She nodded as quick as she could" Jane laughed "Then I am your mummy" she carefully carried her back downstairs where everyone was still staring at her open mouthed. Joan whimpered and Jane snapped "There's nothing to look at!!" She set Joan next to her on the couch and went back to letting kitty cuddle her. The only difference this time was that Joan was curled up into her left side. Jane kissed both of their heads "I love my baby girls" she smiled
