Chapter 5: Exams

"HONEY, WAKE UP!" Wha... I heard my moms voice scream to me from across the house, most likely in the kitchen. I looked over to my clock, brushing the hair out of my face, and looked at the time. It was fucking 7 in the morning. I begrudgingly got out of bed and headed towards the kitchen.

"Why the hell did you wake me up so early." I said. My mom was making breakfast, if you asked me why she was making it at 7 am, I didn't know. "Did you forget about something?" My mom questioned. Did I? All I remember today being is... WAIT A FUCKING SECOND! "THE EXAMS ARE TODAY!" I yelled, causing my father to jump slightly from the chair he was sitting in, before falling asleep again. "Yup. I figured you'd want to get up early to have enough time too wake your friends and still get there early."

I ran back to my room soon after finishing up my breakfast sandwich to get my uniform on after a shower. We we're told by U.A. to arrive in our school uniform with an extra change of workout clothes, presumably for the practical portion. After finishing getting ready it had tuned 7:30. The exams started at 9 am, which gave me 1 hour to grab Hitoshi and Neito and get the fuck out of here if we wanted to be early. You may be thinking that's plenty of time, but Neito sleeps like a rock. Deciding to get Hitoshi first, mostly to get him to help her wake Neito, I ran off.

I arrived a few minutes later, I used the extra key Hitoshi had given me to get in the door. We had all given each other a key to get in. I went into the house and headed towards his room. I had been to his house plenty of times, mostly because we would meet there a lot. His parents weren't there most of the times because of their work, so it made it the best place to go to. I headed into his room to find him asleep on the floor. When he really got into it, he was an active sleeper, moving all around and making it onto the floor a lot. "Wake up Lavender, we got an important day." I kicked him, making him slowly open his eyes. "What are you doin here Raelynn? And where did Lavender come from?" Hitoshi said. "Oh I don't know. Maybe because this is the most important day of our lives? Did you seriously forget that today was the exams!" I said, making his eyes go wide and get up quickly. "Oh yeah! That is today huh? Although I bet you also forgot what today was." Hitoshi said, smirk coming across his face. "Did not... maybe a bit." I said giving into it. "HA, I knew it." He said, smirk coming in fully. "Shut up, we got to go. Go get ready and then we have to get over to shit number two's house to spend an hour just to get him up." I said, signaling to his closet. "Sure, sure."

After Hitoshi got ready, we headed over to Neito's house. We had a game plan to get him awake. All we had to do was get him to reply to Hitoshi, whether it be conscious or not, then Shinso would use his quirk and make him forcibly wake up. Easy, right? Wrong.

"GET THE FUCK UP SHITHEAD!" Hitoshi was screaming at Neito, not even causing him to stir. We had been at this for 30 minutes now. "You know, why don't you just slap his uniform on him and we'll carry him there?" I suggested, wanting to get a move on. "I'm so not stripping him down myself, we'll just take his uniform with us. It's a good thing that he at least wears sweatpants and a shirt too bed." I agreed with him. We threw all of his clothes into a sports bag and heaved him off.  "He's actually a lot lighter than I would have thought." I said hanging Neito over my shoulder. It looked really uncomfortable, but he was the one that didn't want to wake up. "I'm pretty sure that's just because your a monster. I mean you can lift way more than the average person." Hitoshi said. He had decided to just let me carry Neito while he took the bag. "Maybe so. Now hurry up, we gotta go catch the next train."

We eventually arrived at the school at 8:15, with Neito still sleeping his ass off. We had gotten plenty of stares while walking down, even prompting a couple of police to question us. "So, this is U.A. huh?" I said, staring up at the giant building. Now that we were actually here, I was getting more nervous by the second. "Yup, this giant place is the school we'll hopefully go to for the next 3 years." Hitoshi replied, also staring at the building. "Wha... where am I?" Neito said, finally waking up. "Your finally awake shithead. We're at U.A. for the exams, you know, the thing we've been training for for the past few years." Hitoshi said, still wondering how he had only now woken up. "Ohh, that's nice... WAIT WHAT!?" Neito yelled, finally rendering what was happening. "Why didn't you guys just wake me up?" Neito said. "We tried, for a while actually but you wouldn't even budge." I said. "You do know that I'm sensitive to water while asleep right?" Neito said, just now mentioning this. Both of us deadpanned until Hitoshi spoke up. "Just,,, go get into your uniform." We watched him run off towards the nearest bath room. Me and Hitoshi decided to go get some seats in the auditorium to wait for the exams.
