Old Friends

(Please keep in mind that I have changed the ages of Narcissa and Bellatrix to fit with my timeline. Narcissa is now 2 years older than Harlow and Bella is 3 years older. So Narcissa is age 31 and Bellatrix 32. All other characters are still the same age so Snape is still born in 1959, 6 years older than Harlow. Thank you.)

Previously on the knight spy

"Take Miss 'young' up to her room its the one you prepared earlier, I also want you to follow her every command, do as she says" the elf bowed and said "Yes master" she then speaks to me "please follow me, Mistress, young, I will take you to your room" I nod and follow behind, listening to my loud footfall onto the wooden floors, echoing, its the only sound that could be heard. I think to myself 'what the fuck have I gotten myself into'.

As me and the house-elf, which I found out was called Seeley, walked around this maze of a house we finally reached the grand staircase which led up to the bedrooms. As we hiked up the mountains of stairs I saw some people talking, they seemed to be arguing, one being quite a tall male with platinum blonde hair and the other, who looked familiar, had black and a blonde almost white colour. Seeley and I came to a Halt when we reached to top step, the two strangers now in front of us.

The woman was the first to speak she said "Seeley who is this with you".

Seeley responded with " mistress Malfoy this is mistress young" the lady nodded and then abruptly the man spat out "And what is Miss Young doing here in the manor" the house-elf shivered slightly at his tone and whispered " Master Voldermort said to bring her to the room I prepared earlier" coldly the man said "Very well then" he then looked at me, up and down at my muggle wear with a disgusted look and said "I am Lucius Malfoy and this is my wi-" the lady cut in " his wife Narcissa". I may have just been me hearing things but her voice and name seemed strikingly familiar and now even close up her blue eyes was unusually known to me.

I think back to my childhood. I knew a Narcissa but she couldn't possibly be the same one or could she. So I ask "before you got married Narcissa your last name didn't happen to be Black, did it" she looked a bit taken back and said," yes, how did you know this miss young".

My eyes widened.

This was the same Narcissa, my Narcissa.
This woman was my first crush, my first love and even my first kiss.

My smile turned into a grin and I excitedly say " I used to know you when we were children". She looked confused and her brows furrowed " I'm sure I didn't know anyone called Young in my youth" questioning herself. I knowingly say "Oh yes" I looked around and saw that the man, Lucius, had gone so I whisper to Narcissa so Seeley couldn't hear" I'm not sure I'm supposed to tell you this but my name isn't actually lily young, it's Harlow Knight".

Narcissa looked shocked, but then started to smile and say " Oh my goodness Harlow I haven't seen you in years, how have you been? Why are you here?".

I smiled back and said " I've been fine and I'm here on some work business" she then hugged me and said," that's great, we need to catch up some time".

I nodded my head and responded with "I'm only gonna be here for a couple of days but I might go to Diagon alley tomorrow, would you like to come with me" "of course I would, I need to get some things for Draco anyway". I smiled then respond with " that's great" and questioned," But who is Draco?"

"Oh um, Draco is my son"

"I'm happy for you, I know you've always wanted a child, I'm glad you found love".

Narcissa chuckled and says " I hope our past does not create awkwardness between us, I would really love to be friends again" I laughed and bantered " I'm sure it will not, so tomorrow diagon alley let's say 10 o'clock" my long lost friend nodded and said "yes see you at 10, good night" "night".

"come on then Seeley, let's go to my room".
"of course mistress"

I'm now in my room and it is beautiful.
It looks like it was fit for a queen.

The four-posted bed with a black silk bedding and pillows that looked as soft as marshmallows, and I'll tell you they were as soft as marshmallows too. It was wonderful. Also, the massive window with emerald green drapes looked over the breathtaking view. It was just perfect. I'll have to compliment Seeley on this room later but for now, I think I'll get in the shower and get this dye out.

I do the incantation Colovaria to change my hair back to its original state. I stay stood in the bathroom, just looking at my self in the mirror. I never liked my hair colour. I thought it was a hideous shade of red. I used to get teased a lot at my school for it and also by my so called relatives. You see I am the odd one In My family. The reddish hair and green eyes was unknown in the knight family. I curse my fathers side for the red gene.

Staring down at the sink, I smile to myself just thinking about my parents. My mother had the longest black hair and beautiful loving brown eyes, and my father, the cursed red brown hair with dark green eyes. I loved them very much.

I looked back at myself in the mirror, people always used to say I looked like my mother but I didn't see it. She was one of the most beautiful witches in the world and I'm just, I'm just me. A normal broken girl who's nasty to almost everyone she meets, and not to mention she's also unattractive and plain. I guess William was right. I am a good for nothing waste of space and should go kill myself.

I blink a could tears away and say " look at this" I wipe my eyes and look at my hand "I'm crying."

I laugh a bit

" I haven't cried in over 4 years,"
"This mission better be worth it if it is bring up stupid emotions again"

I huff and say while looking at myself " Now, I need to stop crying". "That deadbeat I called a boyfriend is done with, I am happier and I love myself, he was wrong and I'm right".

I  walk out the bathroom and get changed into the pyjamas that was on the bed. Seeley must have came in when i was in the shower. I definitely need to thank her for all her work tomorrow. Though I did think it was a bit weird that they were a perfect fit, but, I couldn't care any less. It's not the weirdest thing that's happened today.

I lay down and wrap my self within the duvet and start to close my eyes. It was quite long before I finally began to fall asleep but when I did I was out like a light.
