The Great Past of You Part 1

             

        Introduction: It started when a single drop of moonlight fell from the heavens. And from that drop became an opal with healing, protecting, and destruction abilities. The sundrops opposite (counterpart). You know who the sundrop is, but do you know who the moon drop is? 

      Quirin was dashing through the snow with his beloved child. He was racing to the palace for the king had medicine for his poor boy to use. It was the day of Varians 3rd birthday he had fallen deathly ill. Varian was very intelligent saying his first word by the age of two. Quirin was proud of his son he uncovered Varian from the blanket he was in. Varian's appearance was sickening but what worried Quirin the most was his eyes. Varian's eyes were always the most bright and brilliant shades of blue you would ever find. But now they have transformed into a dull boring and 

     Quirin was greeted by guards it was until his majesty arrived. "What is the meaning of this"Fredrick said, His voice was perfect for a king. "Fredrick," Quirin said, "My son Varian is not feeling well, he has yellow fever. I know there is some medicine in the palace". Fredrick gave him a grim and sorrowful look and sighed. "I am sorry old friend," Fredrick said, ¨but I cannot give you any there is bearly enough for the people of the capital¨. If he is as sick as you say he has to leave. ¨NO! NO!¨ Quirin shouted, ¨there has to be a way¨. Quirin tried to get closer to Fedrick but the guards sustained him. They started to drag him outside to the storm. ¨NO PLEASE  FREDRICK¨ Quirin shouted after I lost my wife you promised to help my family. PLEASE FREDRICK YOU PROMISED. YOU PROMISED¨

     Quirin slammed the door of his house checking on his son. He chuckled and smiled at the sight of his son sleeping soundly. Almost deathly so, a wave of terror washed on Quirin. ¨Son¨ Quirin said, son, varian. Nothing ¨VARIAN¨! Quirin fell to his knees and trembled his only son was dead.
