Chapter 4

As I walked towards my locker I couldn't help but notice that all eyes were on me, like every single senior in the hall way was looking directly at me. Turns out when you scream about a guy leaving you before sex in a parking lot, you don't still remain the unnoticed silent mute girl, it was like popularity over night.
I finally got to my locker without staring back at any of the spectators. I cracked open my locker after putting in the combination. "Yo, mute!", I heard I voice from behind, it was the great Cornwell O'Donnell, the captain of the foot ball team, shouting out Yo mute from only I few feet away from me. I turned around to see him, the looked back over to my locker and collected what I needed. Then shut it close and started walking. "Yo mute, you're not also deaf you were just mute", he said still walking over to me in greater speed than I was using. He finally got to me as I felt a tap at my back, this provoked me to turn around. "Yo so you speak!" he said with an irritating grin on his face as he shared the joke with his two friends beside him. He stretched out his hand in mocking pleasantry. What the hell was the waste trying to do. "Mandaline right? Didn't really know you were the type, maybe you could swing over at our place, we won't leave you, we'll definitely finish you up". He said the most irritating grin I've ever seen, like a shameless pig.
"Look I understand that you feel like you have a right to make fun of people just because people give you the chance to, but as you said you never thought I could speak and trust me when I say this is the last time I reduce myself enough to exchange a word with you", he suddenly pulled out his hand and his Grin was off. "This will also be the last time you come near me in the purpose to make a fool out yourself, laugh about whatever bullshit you do and keep that at least 10 feet away from me. Cause I'm still trying to understand why y'all are so close to my skin and why the hell you think you have a right to touch me". I said with a strict face, staring him down. This is what I get for simply raising my voice in school?
I turned around not minding their faces or waiting for any response. I blame this all on Gregor.

"Mandaline dear", Mr Hollan called as I stood while he closed the door after the students that went out. I could tell this was going to be one of his composed talks. "You are an amazing writer, you write like a professional, your work could be publishing material. But you're missing one thing", he paused giving me a dramatic stare. Looking straight into my eyes like he we're going to dagger them with his next words. "you need more feeling Mandaline, you need more feeling!" his voice increased dramatically. "I need to feel your writing I need to be able to feel anything", he said then he looked away. "The grief assignment if you've started scrap it. I want you to write me something real about you the moment you felt something". He paused, I bit my lower lip slightly. "I want to feel what you felt at an exact moment", he said then went back over to the door opening it for me. "Now get the fuck out and write me a hell of a story", he said holding the door open. I stood up promptly.

I stood out in the parking lot looking to spot Bell, she's meant to pick me up, but I couldn't spot her car anywhere considering it's not a too common car. Only Bell, would buy hot pink car, just because it's unique.
"Hey", Gregor said waving as he was walked towards me. Why wasn't this guy in school today. "hey", I said in reply as he finally got to where I'm standing. "I made a switch with Bell, so yeah I'm here to give you a ride", he said looking down at me. I didn't even want to ask why he would ask Bell for that. "Where's your car?". I asked already walking as he tried to keep up.
"You just couldn't wait till our date", I said breaking the silent while his eyes were fixed on the road. "Oh so it's a yes", he exclaimed with a bright smile on his face. I didn't want to give him the satisfaction of a me actuality saying yes, but for the first time in my life I had agreed to a date.
I shook my head smirking in response.
"Well, Mandaline, I had to see your beautiful face before the date, so you won't catch me off guard. Oh and set the time", he paused and looked over to me, I looked away at the window pretending not to have been looking at him at all.
"7:30? Miss", he asked still. "whatever, where are you taking me to so ill know how to dress", I asked. His cheeks flushed and I could see it, "it's a surprise, just come how ever you'd like".
