~Jayden pov

we're sitting in the car outside of my dad's mansion. i'm sitting in the backseat with halia. i'm really tired i've been sleeping this whole car ride and they just woke me up. i'm wearing gray sweatpants and a black champion shirt. my slides and white socks and my hair down. it was wet earlier but it's been 6 hours.

"this is all we gotta do now. just ask to talk to dad and hide the gun somewhere in his house. i'll call the police and we'll watch him get arrested then go home." ethan said to mikey

"rico is still on the run" i said in my tired voice

"we'll get him" halia said to me

"okay i'll be back" mikey said. he put on the backpack that has the gun in it. he got out the car and he went inside. we sat in silence for a little bit.

"remember when mom used to.. take us to the park and it'd be 100 degrees and ethan we would slide down the hot ass slides" i said with smile then he giggled.

"uhh yeah. i miss those days.😂" he said while laughing. i giggled. the memories man😄.

"remember when we went to the movies i was 15 you were 14 we went to see IT and you we so scared that you threw your popcorn all over mom😂" ethan said then we started laughing even halia.

"bruh it was scary he didn't have to pop out like that🙄😂" i said then rolled my eyes and laughed with them again.

"i haven't been around mom that much but remember when mom said that you shouldn't be getting all those hickeys and you said some annie's a freakkk😂" halia said then we laughed. we calmed down a little.

"hey, did you and annie break up? you haven't talked about her" ethan asked me

"she cheated on jayden with darius jordan the famous rapper" halia said to ethan

"i heard" ethan said to her

"we didn't break up but it feels like we did. we're on a break again." i said

"ima need her to stop acting like that and cheating on you" ethan said with an attitude

"jayden's so in love with her though" halia said to ethan

"she's gonna learn how to unlove her" ethan said

"i could never do that... i see her in my future she might be a dickhead and cheat but i love her and i know she loves me too she just doesn't show it as much as me.." i said

"annie's in love shes just trying to protect you jayden" halia said. huh?

"what?" i asked softly

"she told me that she's trying to protect you. she told me not to say anything but she's really down for the relationship and she wants it to last so she's putting y'all on a break right now until your mental health is better. and shit i wish i had a girlfriend like that that cared all about my mental health and our relationship." halia said. she cares🥺.

"if she cared why didn't she show up to my games?" i asked her

"music work with nate they write music on those nights at his place" she said.

"...i just want her to kiss me and hold me right now..seriously no bullshit🥺" i pouted

"aye mikey's back😂" ethan said while laughing. we looked at him.

"and he's running" ethan said. mikey jumped in the car and locked the doors.

"drive off! now!" mikey shouted and ethan stepped on the gas. everyone went flying back into the seats.
