Notes: time for some melchritz fluff, and the totally overused trope of one character being teRRified of storms-

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The slow rumble of thunder echoed through out Moritz's room. It was midnight, but he couldn't fall asleep. The boy was sitting on the edge of his bed, unmoving. All he wanted was to be with Melchior, but he couldn't bring himself to go outside. The storm was just to much.

Then he heard something on his window. He looked up from the floor, and tried to make out what was out their. Was that.. a person? His heartbeat sped up, and he shakily stood up from his bed, trying not to be seen by whoever was out their. But as he reached the door he heard a voice call out, "Moritz?"

He looked back at the window and he saw Melchior's face peering in. "Melchi!" He said running to the window. "Why are you here?" he asked, shakily letting him in.

"I don't know, thought you might want some company." He  grinned, "Why are you up?"

"Uh, I don't know, couldn't sleep?" Their was no way in hell Moritz was gonna tell Melchi he was afraid of thunder. But thank god he was here.

"C'mon. " Melchior said, pulling Moritz into bed. "I'm tired" His heart was beating a thousand miles a minute. Melchi had his arm wrapped around the other boy's waist, his other hand was placed on Moritz's heart.

"I can hear your heart beat." He murmured.

Moritz turned around, facing the other boy. He placed his hand on Melchior's heart, "And I hear yours." He sighed.

The two boys lay their for awhile, listening to each other's beating hearts, soaking in their warmth, and staring into each other's eyes. Admiring each other's beauty.

Melchior leaned forward, ever so slightly. His lips grazing Moritz's. Moritz closed his eyes, closing the space between them. Melchior kissed him so softly, and held his face so gently, as though he was afraid he would break him. Moritz kissed back, pulling Melchi closer to him, scared he would pull away.

Thunder echoed through the room once more, though Moritz didn't notice. He and Melchior were in a world of their own, and what a beautiful world it was.
