That next day, Tuesday, was Jaehyun's trial. All seven boys attended the trial. All of them testified, most of them being witnesses. The trial was long and took almost the entire day.
(A/N: I know most trials take a few days but I'm speeding it up for the sake of the story. Also, I don't know much about law and the justice system so bear with me :/)
The trial ended with Jaehyun getting sentenced to 4 years in prison and Jimin and Taehyung filing restraining orders on him as a just in case.
"I'm glad that's over," Yoongi smiled as they all walked out of the courthouse.
"Me too," Taehyung sighed contentedly, leaning into his boyfriend's side.
"You guys wanna go out to celebrate? I'll pay~" Jin laughed as all 6 boys nodded vigorously.
"Yes! I'm starving and you have that rich people money," Jungkook commented, making all the boys laugh.
"Alright, let's go to my parent's restaurant then," All the boys nodded in agreement and began their way to the restaurant.
They had an amazing time there, Jungkook taking advantage of Hyung's promise and ordering very expensive things, Yoongi clinging to Jimin the whole afternoon, and just having a good time overall.
After a couple of hours, they began to get tired, so they decided to leave. They said their goodbyes and all went home to begin getting ready for the next day. When Yoongi and Jimin arrived home Yoongi dragged Jimin upstairs and quickly got changed into a pair of blue basketball shorts and a white T-shirt, while Jimin only wore boxers and one of Yoongi's hoodies.
They climbed into bed and Yoongi instantly clung to Jimin. The younger boy chuckled and ran his fingers through Yoongi's hair. Yoongi couldn't tell you how much he loved when Jimin did that. It was like heaven for him.
"Are you ok? You've been very clingy the past two days, not that I'm complaining, just curious," Jimin broke the peaceful silence after a bit.
"I just don't want to lose you... those two days without you sucked ass so of course, I don't want to lose you for a longer time," Yoongi nodded, nuzzling his face in the crook of Jimin's neck. Jimin smiled.
"You'll never lose me, Yoon. I'll always be with you, that's one promise I can keep forever."
"And I can promise that I will always protect you."
The two laid in a comfortable silence once more just enjoying each other's presence until Yoongi moved his hand up under the hoodie and began to caress Jimin's side, the spot where he was previously injured. Jimin subconsciously smiled at the action. He knew Yoongi did it out of comfort and love, which made this small action even more meaningful to both of them.
Jimin put his hand on Yoongi's, stopping the motion of the latter's hand, and intertwined their fingers. He left their hands over that spot and smiled more as Yoongi lifted his head to look at Jimin. They stared at each other for a few moments before Yoongi leaned in and pressed a sweet kiss to Jimin's lips. The younger male smiled and kissed back softly. The kiss wasn't rushed or lustful, but sweet and loving.
When Jimin broke the kiss for air he smiled looking into Yoongi's cat-like eyes. He could stare into Yoongi's eyes for hours if he could. He loved his deep chocolate orbs, they were truly beautiful. Jimin leaned in for another kiss, though this one didn't last as long. When they pulled away again, Jimin closed his eyes, smiling and curling up against Yoongi's side.
"I love you, Jagiya," Jimin spoke just above a whisper.
"I love you more, Minnie."
