Chapter 21

Yes I'm still alive... yes I'm still writing this story... I'm sorry it's been so long it's just been really hard for me lately and really hard to keep my mind focused when u write.

      It's been a few weeks now and so far nothing bad has happened. Derek and I have gotten a lot closer as well. He met my mom just a couple of weeks ago and she loved him. Says he's the perfect guy for me.
"Hey baby" I said as I walked through Derek's house to find him working out.
"Hey babe." He panted out stopping what he's doing and kissing me.
"Ew ur all sweaty!!" I whined as he hugged me.
"I love you Myra."
No matter how many times he's told me that, my heart still flutters at the sound.
"I love you too Derek." I replied giving him a chaste kiss on the lips.
    "Jackson said he hasn't changed yet and doesn't know why." I said as we ate lunch together.
"Hm if  his body was rejecting the bite he'd be dead by now." Derek said as he ate some fries.
"Maybe it's just taking longer cuz he wants it." I suggested
"Maybe."
   After Derek and I's peaceful lunch he dropped me off at the house and sure enough there was Jackson.
"Hey jacks." I smiled as I hugged him.
"Hey, hows ya know?" He asks hoping I knew what he meant since my moms in the next room.
"Yes go up to my room."
We got into my room and I told him everything I know so far.
"So far I'm a harpy. A harbinger of death. Basically anything supernatural that dies I take them somewhere to keep the supernatural a secret." I said as I cleaned up my room a bit.
"That's cool, I still haven't changed at all but I feel it. It's happening very soon." Jackson said prideful.
"I'm sure it will." I replied rolling my eyes at him.
"How's you and Derek?" Jackson asks as he goes through my photo album.
"We are good. We had lunch together to day. I love him. I just can't help but worry that with him being an alpha he's feeling power hungry. I- I think he'd wanting to start changing people." I said not believing I'm confessing this to Jackson. Don't get me wrong he's my bestfriend but at the same time I feel like I shouldn't tell anyone. I know I can't tell Scott or Stiles they'd flip.
"So what ya wanna do?" He asked as he tossed the photo album back on to my dresser.
"I don't know, we could watch a movie?" I suggested already pulling out my laptop.
"Ok sounds good." Jackson said jumping onto the bed and leaning back with a sigh.
"Oh yeah go ahead make ur self comfortable." I said laughing putting on the movie "the ritual"
  The next day Scott came in my room with Stiles and even though I was half asleep with my hair all over the place I can tell something happened.
"What's happened?" I asked groggily.
"It's ur boyfriend." Scott replies.
"Yeah we think he's turning people." Stated Stiles.
Oh hell...
