Chapter 17

   We got our ice creams and we're currently sitting in the park talking, and just enjoying each others company.
" So got any more information about who the alpha is? "
"Nope" Derek replied popping the 'p'
"I just want this to be over.
I wish I was normal again.
I hate being a siren.
I hate how I can't control it and how I have the potential to be a complete monster." I said as I threw my ice cream away and leaned on Derek.
"I know baby, I'm sorry this happened to you." He replied as he kissed my head.
I looked up at him with a smile kissing him on the lips.
"I love you." Derek said.
"I love you too." I smiled as I continued to kiss him.
Derek pulled away with a sigh squeezing me tighter into him with the arm that's wrapped around me.
"I should take you home before Scott has my head."
"Yeah that's probably a good idea." I chucked.
"I have to apologize to him any ways. He was just trying to help me and I took it out on him."
  Derek took me home and told me he'd see me tonight at my window.
I took a deep breath and walked into the house seeing Scott at the table fixing his lacrosse stick.
"Scott I'm sorry. You were just helping me and i shouldn't have over reacted."
"Hey you shouldn't be sorry, I as ur brother should never have done that." Scott said as he hugged me.
"Is mom working tonight?" I asked as I grabbed an apple sitting at the table with Scott.
"Yeah she is."
"Well since she's gonna be out late what ya say we watch a horror movie?" I asked thinking some good brother sister time would do us good.
Ever since all this we have hardly hung out.
"I kind of already have plans with Allison I'm sorry." Scott said sympathetically.
"Oh. Ok." I said nodding my head acting as if it was ok when really I was disappointed.
  I feel like I'm loosing my brother to all this supernatural stuff and it scares me.
After Scott left with Alison I called Derek and asked him if he wanted to come over sooner which he did.
We watched movies for the rest of the night eating popcorn and candy.
Enjoying each others company, acting like a normal couple.
I just know this isn't going to last.
