A Letter

Harry's POV:

     It's been a month since the train ride, me Hermione, Ron, Draco, Pansy, and Blaise are all friends. Hermione and Pansy are a couple, and they're great for each other, as suprising as it might sound at first. Blaise and Ron like each other, me and 'Mione figured it out as soon as Ron told us he was bi, it's pretty obvious they like eathother. But Draco definitely doesnt like me.

     I've been getting a lot of stupid love letters lately, all from girls so I wouldn't date them anyway. Today an owl came in and gave me two letters, one was Another stupid love letter that I burned, but the other one was different. Harry read it to himself.

Dear Harry,

I know you've probably gotten a thousand stupid love letters. But before you read the rest of it, I want you to know that I'm a guy.
I've fancied you since 4th year. You're brave, you are confident, you're selfless, you're compassionate, you're loyal, you're strong-willed, your instinctive, you're determined, you're stubborn (I like that about you), and you're obsessive (also like that about you). Your also beautiful, your hair looks so soft, it's an adorable mess, your eyes are the perfect shade of green, you're shorter than me, but that's perfect. You're perfect. I don't like you because you're 'the chosen one' or 'the savior of the wizarding world' or 'the boy who lived twice' (I mean, you OBVIOUSLY did a fantastic job and I'm grateful) I like you because of your personality. You probably fancy someone else, but I'm like the last person you would think of to like. If you ever do figure out who I am, (which I doubt will happen-no offense), and you dont ever want to talk to me again, I completely get it.

     "Is that another stupid love letter?" Ron asked. "Yes-well not really, this one isnt stupid." I said as I handed it to Hermione. Who could've written it? I'll ask 'Mione. "Do you know who wrote it?" "No, they put an anti tracing spell on it, so I can't trace it back to who wrote it, sorry Harry." "Its fine." I said. Its written in green ink, so It must be a Slytherin. Hermione clearly figured this out because, she too, was starting at the Slytherin table. Wow this guy must be really smart if even Hermione cant figure it out-wait I did see a tiny smirk on her face for a second, maybe she knows and she's not telling me... "Hermione..., are you sure you dont know who wrote it?" "No I dont know Harry, I really am sorry. I'll talk to you guys later, I'm going to go study in the library before class." She said. "Its fine. Talk to you later." I said even though I don't believe her...

Hermione's POV:

     This letter is from Draco! I knew he fancied Harry! This is perfect! They both fancy each other! But I'm not gonna tell Harry yet... I'm gonna see how long it takes him to figure it out, or until Draco tells him... "Do you know who wrote it?" Harry asked. "No, they put anti-tracing spells so I cant find out who wrote it, sorry Harry." "It's fine." He says, clearly oblivious to who wrote it. I smirked for a second, ugh I've been spending too much time with pansy, but I think Harry saw it, because he said "Hermione..., are you sure you dont know who wrote it?" Oh no. "No I don't Harry, I really am sorry. I'll talk to you guys later, I'm gonna go study in the library before class." I said acting truthful. "Its fine. Talk to you later." He said not believing me...

     While I was walking by the Slytherin table on the way out, I glanced at Malfoy, who knows I know because he put a spell on the letter so he could hear everything that's said around it. He looked at me, I could tell he was thankful I didn't tell Harry, but was also confused on why I didn't. I gave him a small smile before walking out.

Ron's POV:

     Who the bloody hell could have written this letter? He seems like he could be a good match for Harry. But I wonder who Harry does fancy... "Hey Harry, who do you fancy?" He responded with "I'll tell you later, theres to many people around. And I think Hermione already knows who I fancy..." "You think? "Well, I didnt tell her, but I think she figured it out..." "oh, of course she did." I said and we laughed a little.

Draco's POV:

     I can hear everything there saying because I put a spell on the letter so I could hear everything around it. I'm glad he liked the letter and glad he doesn't know I wrote it, but I'm not happy that Hermione knows... at least she didn't tell anyone...

     As she was walking out of the great hall, she looked at me and smirked. It was a smirk of victory for figuring out it was me. But the look In her eyes was completely different... the look in her eyes was telling me that she wanted me and Harry to get together...

     Ron pulled me out of my thoughts when he asked Harry who he liked. But Harry only said "I'll tell you later, theres to many people around." I stopped listening after that and hoped I would be able to figure it out... the spell on the letter only last for a certain amount of time and i hope it doesn't run out before i find out...even though i know it's not me....

Hiiiiiiii!  I hope you like this chapter even though it's short. (: Sorry if it's bad, I'm not the best writer.
