THE PESSIMISM AND JEALOUSY CYNTHIA JAMES SAW WERE ENCAPSULATED IN A SHADOW THAT WARPED BENEATH HER TATTERED SHOES. When looking at the Glee sign up sheet she couldn't help but tap her foot. She practically had to force herself not to cross Rachel Berry's name off the list. The greed she felt about doing better than Rachel in every way really had gotten to her ever since she stole Cynthia's solo in the first Glee club by having a hissy fit. She wanted credit for all her hard work, didn't she have a right to feel greedy that all her hard work was being passed to someone else?

That was when she quit the Glee club, she stormed into pervert Mr.Ryersons office with the full intent of yelling some speech at him — but in the end, muttered the words, 'I'm quitting the Glee club.' But now that's all in the past, now it is no longer just 'the Glee club', and Ryerson is no longer the teacher. It is now the New Directions and Spanish teacher Will Schuester has now become the Glee club teacher. The second Cynthia heard about this she ran to the bulletin board to sign up — until she saw her name; Rachel Berry. There was no way in hell Cynthia James can be in a club with Rachel Berry without wanting to rip her head off — again. Well... not alone at least.

With that, a lightbulb went off in the girl's head and that lightbulb has a name; Maggie Sharp. Also known as prima ballerina Maggie Sharp. The girl jocks love because she's dainty and seems delicate, the ray of sunshine, the typical girl next door. But more importantly, and more simply put, Cynthia's best friend. The two girls met their Freshman year of high school — so only about a year ago — when Cynthia literally fell on her and Maggie laughed and said, 'never knew falling for someone could be so literal.' Since that moment, the rest is history.

"Maggie!" Cynthia yelled, rushing over to her best friend and slamming her locker shut. "I have a proposition for you."

Maggie gave her friend a look, "I wasn't done looking in my locker," she said opening her locker up again.

Cynthia ignored her and slammed the locker shut again, "this is better," she smirked. Maggie widened her eyes and shook her head as her friend grabbed her wrist and dragged her down the hall. The thing about Cynthia James is she practically has two left feet, so the process of running back towards the bulletin board also meant the two slamming into multiple bodies. But eventually, just not so safely, the girls stood in front of the bulletin board. Cynthia — out of breath — said, "look!"

Maggie scanned the board before her eyes landed on the Cheerios sign up sheet and her eyes became wide. "Cyn, you cannot try out for the Cheerios again, do you not remember what happened last time? Sue literally threw her clipboard at you and you fell onto her judging table."

"No! Not that!" Cynthia shook her head before pointing at the Glee sign up sheet. "This!" She watched Maggie slowly shake her head no and Cynthia pouted grabbing onto her shoulder, "Mags come on! Pretty please, with a cherry on top?" Maggie shook her head faster, her eyes getting wider and her cheeks shaking from how fast she was shaking it. "I can't do this alone, because of her, the Rachel terror, the Berry monster."
