Colin informed me that he and I could interact in these breaks of lunch and dinner. Morning breaks weren't counted as they were too short. He also told how he had been finding a way since such a long time. I had asked him when would my hearing take place. He replied that if my case my related to Haggary, there was only one hope, "Runaway..."
He told me that I couldn't expect hearing from court or bails and justice as Haggary was a corrupt political billionaire and he would stuff money into judges and he would give police officers and other law making institutions, as much money as one wanted. All people were given enough money to settle up and stay quiet. He told me that my case would never be solved. Haggary always succeeded in finding and making fake proof. He would make anything out of the smallest detail and show it to the judges as proof, if the judges denied, he would seal them with billions of dollars and even if someone tried to raise voice, it would be a tragic ending.
Noone has been able to cut through the money that Haggary offers, even if one denies taking money, you can't hide for long. You will just end up a tragic old ending who noone knows that once happened. I was threatened after knowing how strong Haggary was. The way Colin told about Haggary... I was even more baffled on what to do.
"You have only one way, that is one of hardest ones. Escaping Stoutlessin which noone has done yet. If you manage to escape and make it abroad claiming yourself as a tourist, you can be saved. But... It is actually insane. There is this 97% probability that you would end up getting imprisoned for life." Colin explained.
"If we both work together, maybe we can make this out. Or it's just living here and dieing here because years ago, I was caught up here because of Haggary only. I have been rotting here ever since. Having you... Gives me hope that I have never had ever since I was dumped here." He added.I agreed to him. I told him that we would talk about this tomorrow and today, I would try to figure out Kevin's plan.
He had also warned me about Kevin but I had no way. Kevin was the way and the only way or it was just distant hope to make it out alive. I was still young, I couldn't rot behind the bars forever. I had to make it out, I was a normal innocent guy, I couldn't give up. I had to get out, start a life. Make a fresh start. The break was over. I was bought back to my chamber. The same old steel walls that made me feel sick. I pulled out the paper and the pen slowly, crouched in a corner and as I poured the light on the paper, I started reading the next instructions...
"To provide little ventilation into the room, there is a ventilation panel attached to the central wall of every chamber. But the area is very small and no-one can fit through the shaft as it is pinned and sealed by pins and is steel. But, as toothpastes contain 50% of abrasives and they also consist of fluorides and if toothpaste is rubbed over the pins, they might come off loose as toothpastes consist of fluorides. The shaft might come loose if so is done."
That was it.
"Weird" I said looking at the shaft.
Now I started to think about Kevin. Was this guy okay to trust or was Colin okay to trust on. Should I use the idea suggested by Kevin?
Or should I not trust kevin as said by Colin.
Should I think something out for myself? Should I help Colin?
Was it safe?My head would blast. I leaned against the corner of the chamber and buried the pen and the paper deep into my pocket. I already had a heavy pocket due to the toothpaste. I had had enough. I looked at the walls and then at the shaft which Kevin was talking about...
It all slowly went blur. I dozed off.
