"Hey, Daraki!" Kairo yelled over the roaring traffic. "Hey!" Daraki yelled back. Kairo jogged to catch up with him, then slowly took his hand. It wasn't weird to them, it was just a thing that they did. They weren't in a relationship but they did joke around like that a lot. "So you got a place to stay?" Kairo sighed. "Well..." Daraki trailed off. "Well it's okay, you could maybe stay in that dor-" A Sprite can smacked into Daraki, soaking his coat. There was a group of 17-18-year-olds who laughed hysterically. "I feel very refreshed now." Daraki sighed. They both laughed and continued to walk. Slowly the laughing died. "Hey, freaks." A low voice snarled. Kairo shifted his gaze towards the groups of boys who threw the can. "Yeah, what." Kairo snapped. He instantly knew he hated them. "I heard you talking about how that blonde kid is homeless." One of them snicked. Daraki rolled his eyes. "So you decided to eavesdrop on "the freaks"?" Daraki smirked. "Well, not-" The boy growled. "Anyways, if you two are so attached to each other why don't you just live with each other?" He laughed. "Oh my god, your comebacks are so weak. I think we should Kairo, he needs to go back on his Tumbler page for more sucky comebacks." Daraki smiled. "Sure," I muttered. Daraki tugged on my hand, signalling he actually wanted to go. "Alright, why don't we go to my place?"
