After me and Billie returned from our little adventure, we sneaked back into the house and to our separate bedrooms in hopes of getting some rest before we have to begin the busy day. Yet, I didn't fall asleep again. The recent events where still fresh in my mind and it was stuck on a loop I couldn't seem to escape. A knock on the door snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Felton?" Maggie questioned from behind the door, to which I hummed in response.
"We're leaving for the venue in a hour. Breakfast is downstairs," she says calmly before I hear her footsteps walk down the hall to the the room next door. The same phrase is repeated, the response is just different.
"Yeah mom," I hear Billie say in an annoyed and tired tone before I hear Maggie walk downstairs.
I decide a cold shower might help wake me up, so I rip off the band aid and get out of bed before going into the bathroom. When I return to the room, Billie is there but still isn't ready. I see she has two different shoes in each hand and her eyebrows is furrowed as she looks back and fourth between the outfit on the made up bed and the shoes.
"The shoe in on the left seems more fitting," I comment absentmindedly as I spritz my neck with some perfume.
"Right it is then," she says before she takes the outfit from the bed and walk into the bedroom. I chuckle because it's typical for someone who dresses againts the norm to obviously choose the opposite of what other people would. I check that I have everything I need for the day in my purse and walk downstairs for breakfast.
The aroma of food being cooked immediately hits my senses and I follow the smell to the kitchen. Patrick is seated at the dining table in the middle of the kitchen busy reading a newspaper and drinking his coffee while Maggie is taking a tray filled with muffins out of the oven.
"Good morning," I greet from the entrance of the kitchen and I recieve two similar replies.
"Take a seat and serve up, I'm sure Billie will be here in a minute," Maggie says with a smile as she's busy taking out the muffins.
Conversation flows naturally between the three of us as we eat breakfast. I learn that we're flying out to Europe for the next show after tonight. I praised Maggie for the food being amazing after Patrick commented that the whole family is actually vegan. While I was busy talking, Billie comes running downstairs and into the kitchen claiming that we're going to be late.
"Can I eat my burrito on the ride there mom? We don't have any time now," she yells from the livingroom as she's busy searching for what she said was her Aquaphor.
"Where the fuck is it? We have thousands of bottles around the house, but when I'm looking for one, it's never there!" she exclaims frustratingly.
"Language Billie! And I have a extra bottle in my purse," Maggie yells as we all walk to the front door. When we walk outside, a Cadillac similar to the one that picked me up at the airport last night stood parked in front of the house. We made our way to the car and climbed in.
"Took you long enough," a man sitting in the passenger seat commented.
"Yeah whatever doofus," Billie shoots back playfully. The man had ginger hair with roughly the same blue eyes Billie had, from the few glimpses I recieved of his face.
"Finneas, this is Felton. She-," Maggie introduce but gets cut off by Finneas.
"She's joining us on tour for a month," Finneas says and turns around to reach out a hand to shake.
"It's a pleasure to meet you," he says with a smile as I shake his hand.
"Likewise."
"Now that all the introductions are handled- Wait, where's Claudia?" Billie asks Finneas. My attention focuses on the conversation after I hear a familiar name.
