"I've always known what I wanted. Even from when I was thirteen and just starting my career, I knew what direction I wanted to go in. Lately though, I've been feeling...lost. I've been making all these impulsive and reckless decisions that all just result in me losing myself even more. I can't bring myself to even think about writing a song because there's just this big mind block that finds its way into my brain. So you see, I want you to help me be more, how can I say it...stable. Atleast until I have enough time to get, well, me back on track," she says with a solemn expression, her body turned towards me.

I didn't really know how to approach this situation. I've never read or heard anything similar to it, therefore I didn't know how to reply in a way that was logical. I guess the only two questions swirling around in my head were, how she knew that I can, as she described it, stabilize her and why she could have chosen anyone else in the world, but she chose me. So I might just start there.

"How do you know I can help you? And, why choose me?" I ask after a few seconds of silence, filled with me scratching my nail beds raw and her patiently waiting for my reply.

She let's out a short laugh, followed by my eyebrows furrowing together trying to understand the reason behind her sudden outburst.

"You think I'd just grab someone off the streets like 'Hey there stranger! Come join me on tour for a month and learn everything about me just to sell me out to the tabloids after'. Nah, I might not look that smart, but you can bet I'll do a background check on everyone I hire. So, I know you can help me," she says with a serous tone, still managing to keep a smile on her lips, convusing me even more about how she feels about the words she just said.

Before I open my mouth to defend myself and ask why on earth she thinks it's right to invade someone's privacy like that, her face changes when she probably realizes that she might have freaked me out with the whole background check part.

"Hey! Firstly, I'm sorry that I did that, but you got to understand where I'm coming from. I'm stuck in a world where anything I say or do is recorded and could be used against me. Secondly, I've been searching for someone like you for almost half a year and when the company contacted me saying they finally found who I've been looking for, I couldn't let it slip."

I let her words sink in. Waiting for my brain to come up with a good enough reply to her strange confession.

"You don't have to say anything right now, I understand this is a lot to process. Why don't we meet everyone first and sleep on it before I can explain everything further tomorrow," she suggests with a caring smile. As I'm listening, my eyelids seemed to get heavier by the second, the jet lag seeming to set in the more I hear her smooth voice and feel the gentle vibrations sent by the car that was zooming across the highway.

"Yeah I think I might just-," I yawn mid sentence before continuing to talk complete gibberish.

Everything just seemed to grow more quite as my eyes started to slowly close and I made myself more comfortable againts the smooth leather seats.

I rediscovered my Nintendo DS from when I was like eight, so if I'm not busy writing chapters or Bio kicking my ass, I'm playing Mario kart.
P.S. Wario can kiss my ass
Stay safe (and healthy)
