Day of Leigh Ann's funeral

Lexis PoV
"Whose going with you?" Saffy asked as I drank my tea "Mams coming with me and I'm gonna see a few of the other girls there" I said as I looked at the time , "Are we gonna get going now?" My mam said as she came into the kitchen " I guess so" I said putting the rest of my tea out and putting my cup in the sink. The drive to the funeral was just my mam saying all these things like it will be alright and her just being plain annoying.

After we got there we went in and sat down , a lot of the people here were some of her clients and a lot of the girls from the club, even Barry was here. The funeral was sad and I cried the whole way through. It was over pretty fast because it was just a short ceremony and she was getting cremated, after the ceremony my mam drove me to the wake and i started talking to the other girls whilst my mam sat in the corner talking the the bar woman because she went to school with her.

"How come you got released baz?" I asked "the pigs still think I done it even saying I'm a human trafficker but I'm out on bail till the trial next week" he said as I looked around for Francesca "where's fran at? I would've thought she would be here?" I asked " she's locked up they think she's apart of it but she didn't make bail for some reason" he said as some police officers walked into the pub "get lost will you , were morning our friend!" Riley one of the girls shouted as they walked over to me " Lexi Smith you are under arrest for the murder of Leigh Ann , you do not have to say anything but anything you do say may be given in evidence , do you understand?" The police officer said pushing me against the wall forcefully and putting handcuffs on me "Get your hands of her she's just a kid!" Barry shouted as everybody started crowding and then my mam came over "What's going on that's my daughter there!" My mam shouted following us out to the car "Your daughter has been arrested for the murder of Leigh Ann " he said as he opened the police car door "I'll phone the lawyers lex!
You will be out in an hour I promise love!" I heard Barry shout from behind everybody before I was put into the police car . I was in shock I think, I had never thought I would be accused of this, it most definitely wasn't me because I was with max last Tuesday , then I came to me I couldn't say that because I would be incriminating max.

When we got to the police station they booked me in and I was thrown in a cell , I must've been there for three hours before I was called into an interview room to speak to a woman who I'm guessing was my lawyer " Hi Lexi , I'm Alyssa and I represent the members of the sexual entertainment employment , baz has told me everything and I now just need your side of the story" she said smiling whilst pulling a pen and paper out " What do you mean my side? I technically have an alibi thing but if I mention anything the other person could go to jail for being with a minor " I said " Basically just what you think happened and if anything felt off the days leading to her murder, and anything you tell me I can assure you will not get anybody else in trouble because there are ways around things " she said still smiling " Nothing seemed off , I ho early thought she was fine , and I was stopping with my boyfriend at the time , on the Tuesday night " I said " Okay, so you have somebody who can validate your whereabouts from 11pm to 5am on Tuesday 15th ?" She asked "Yeah , but he was an older man and my teacher , but we had been dating before he was my teacher" I said " right well I personally don't know why your here then, can you please get detective Mary sir " Alyssa said as the police officer on the door went to go get the detectives. Once they came in and Alyssa explained everything they got a statement off me.
