i hate parties with a passion. i only came here because i wanted to make sure my friend, mina, got home safely. but i should have just left her, because this place was nuts. loud music, the strong smell of alcohol, people dancing and screaming, it was all giving me a headache. i decided to head upstairs for a little bit, hoping it would be quieter. i looked around for mina, and saw her making out with some random guy on the couches. i rolled my eyes before walking upstairs, sighing deeply. how on earth did me, a shy soft girl, become best friends with a horny, party animal like mina? it didn't matter, i still love her.

it was much quieter upstairs, making me smile happily to myself. "finally some peace and quiet" i muttered, walking over to the alt cove. i sat down, propping my legs up and staring out at the night sky. the stars looked so pretty, the moonlight reflecting in my eyes. "hey, you okay?" i heard a voice and turned my head. and my eyes met with absolute beauty. it was a boy, around my age. he had light brown fluffy hair and honey like skin, his chocolate brown eyes sparkling. there was an adorable smile painted on his lips, flashing the cutest smile i have seen in my entire life. "y-yeah, i just needed a moment to breath" i replied, trying my hardest not to blush. "not much of a party person?" he put one hand in his pocket as he walked a little closer to where i was seated. he had a lovely vanilla scent, matching his beautiful looks. i shook my head, a small giggle escaping my lips.

"mind if i sit?" he motioned to the little bench i was sitting on. i nodded, backing up against the wall a little bit. "i'm doyoung by the way, i'm in your science class" he smiled that adorable smile as i nodded. i haven't really seen him before, but then again i really only know mina, as i'm so shy. "i-i'm y/n" i smiled shyly as he held out his hand for a handshake. i slipped my small hand into his larger one, a smile playing on my lips at how soft and warm his hands were. he gently shook it, smiling softly. "so, y/n, how come you came even though you don't like parties?" his smile made me feel so giddy inside, i had never felt this way before! "ah well, my best friend mina came today, and i wanted to make sure she got home safely" i said as his sparkly eyes looked into mine.

"well you sound like a great friend" doyoung smiled at me as i blushed. "do you like parties?" i asked him shyly as he giggled. my god his giggle was adorable. "well yeah i guess, i love dancing and letting loose, away from all the stress" he smiled as i nodded slowly. "you know, you're the first girl i've met that isn't into alcohol, sex or drugs" i blushed a little at his words. "i-is that a good thing?" i fiddled with my fingers as a cute laugh escaped his lips. "are you kidding? it's amazing! and so are you!" he winked at me as i started blushing furiously. "how come you aren't downstairs partying? i don't want to ruin your fun" i looked at him as he shook his head, running his hand through his gorgeous fluffy hair.

"the boys were getting a little too wild, so i came up here for a little break, and then saw you! i just wanted to make sure you were okay" he smiled at me as i nodded. i always had this habit of covering my mouth when i smiled, as i always felt self conscious about my gummy smile. "hey, why are you covering your smile?" he gently grabbed ahold of my hand, pulling it down as my smile dropped. "a-ah, it's a habit" i blushed a little as he frowned. "well i'm going to get you out of that habit" he smiled, making me bite the inside of my cheek. "come on, smile for me, pleaseeee?" he leaned forward a little, a blush creeping up on my cheeks. he started tickling my sides, making me stifle a few giggles. he kept tickling me, until i finally cracked and started giggling. i almost covered my mouth, but doyoung grabbed ahold of my hand to prevent me from doing so. therefore, my gummy smile was on full display.

"yay! there we go!" he smiled, his hands still enveloping my small ones. "oh and you have dimples! so cuteee ~" he cooed, making me blush furiously. "you shouldn't hide your smile, the world deserves to see a pretty girl like you" he smiled, my heart beating furiously. there was a moment, where we were just staring into each other's eyes. he took a glance down at my lips, before shooting his eyes back up to meet mine. all of a sudden, i felt my phone vibrate, breaking whatever moment we were having. "u-uh sorry" i blushed a little, pulling out my phone as he just smiled. i looked at my phone screen, seeing a text from mina. "went home to have some fun, had to take you car sorry xo" i frowned at the message. she took my car?!
