The bell rang, signalling the end of the day. I stood up, gathering my belongings and starting out the door. "Y/N could I talk to you for a second?" Mr. Kim called out, stopping my actions. I turned around and nodded, my best friend Haechan making a funny face at me as he walked out. I giggled, before approaching Mr. Kim's desk. "I see you are good friends with Haechan?" He placed his hands on the desk, a soft smile on his lips. At least I'm not in trouble. "Ah yes, we've been best friends since kindergarten" I smiled, placing my bag down by my feet. "Well that's good to hear ... anyways, I've noticed that Haechan is struggling within this algebra unit, so I was wondering if you could help him out ... tutor him?" my eyes widened slightly at his words. "Of course, I'd be happy to help" I smiled, Mr. Kim nodding in approval. "Thank you for staying back, you can go now" he smiled and motioned to the door. I thanked him and then skipped out the door, a victorious smile painted on my lips.

"You seem happy ... what happened?" I ran right into Haechan, who was waiting for me outside the classroom. "I'm now a tutor" I smiled widely as we began walking towards the school gate. "Oh damn! Who's the unlucky kid?" Haechan laughed, making me raise an eyebrow. "You" I smirked, his eyes widening. "ME?! YOU are tutoring ME?!" He basically choked on his own words. I nodded, smiling ever so widely. "Yep! Now come on, you can come to my house and we can get started" I giggled at his shocked expression. "So let me get this straight ... Mr.Kim told you I was struggling with algebra and asked you to tutor me?" Haechan rubbed his forehead, making me laugh. "Yes, but don't worry! I will actually help you, because you're my bestie ~~" I clung onto his arm, making a silly face as he chuckled. "Fine" he rolled his eyes, ruffling my hair.

We soon reached my house, Haechan following closely behind me as we walked in. "i'll get us some snacks and drinks ... you can put your stuff upstairs and i'll join you in a sec" i motioned to the stairs, before walking into the kitchen. while haechan got himself settled in my bedroom, i put together some snacks and our favourite milk tea. "haechannie!! ~~" i put on an annoying, high pitched tone, swinging open my bedroom door and walking on in. "yes baby?" he turned around, a smirk raising his lips. god damn it. haechan KNOWS how to get me flustered, especially by calling me nicknames like baby. i blushed, placing the snacks and drinks on the edge of the bed. the truth is ... i may have had a fat crush on haechan for the past 6 years. am i going to tell him? no.

"okay, let's get started" once my cheeks cooled down, i pulled out my textbooks, placing them on the desk. just as i was about to pull up a chair, haechan pulled me by my waist, causing me to land on his lap. i blushed furiously, his hands snaking around my waist. "you can teach me from here" he whispered, resting his head on my shoulder. i gulped, small beads of sweat forming on my temples. "o-okay w-well .... uhm let's work on some algebraic equations" i started to work through each problem, trying my hardest to ignore haechan's hot breath fanning down my neck. "so do you get it?" i slightly turned my head ... so our lips were only a few centimetres apart. haechan looked down at my lips, and then back up into my eyes. "nope, i was too distracted by your beautiful face" he mumbled, before leaning forward, pressing his lips against mine.

i widened my eyes, but soon relaxed into the kiss. i felt haechan's hand land on the back of my neck, pulling me closer to deepen the kiss. after a few minutes, we both pulled away to catch our breaths. "i'm in love with you" he mumbled, brushing a loose strand of hair behind my ear. "i-i'm in love with you too" i whispered, completely lost in his starry gaze. haechan smiled, pressing a gentle kiss to my forehead. "but i'm not gonna date a dumbass, so let's get to work" i smiled, haechan and i chuckling. we soon returned back to work, and eventually fell asleep together on my bed.
