"Yeah, the sight of death is never something you get use to" Hunk sighed as he glanced to Lance who looked towards the island beach seeing Pidge/ Shiro crews fighting with Zarkon and Lotor crew, the three ships firing canons towards the beach trying to lesson their own crew deaths before shooting at each others ships.

Zarkon ship seemed to be called 'Death' and it left most of 'Rover' crew puzzled until Pidge pointing out Lotor Ship. that was called 'Victory'. A saying that all black pirates use 'Victory or Death' as that the code the black pirates live to unlike normal Pirates who have a more honourable code.

"No Its not the sight, I've seen this sight before but I just wish I was down there fighting with them instead of hiding on the ship" Lance frowned reloading the canon he and Hunk was in charge of and Hunk rolled his eyes.

"I've been a pirate a long time, the sea makes me puke yet its my home. My family lives above and under the sea. I've seen a lot of bloodshed and so much death that it could turn a man insane but I know my own skills and I trust my crew mates. Pidge only fights when there no other way but she fights to protect her crew, for them to live even if it means killing others who threaten to take their lives. Pidge hats how blood can stain a person and just tries to protect others from that stain but you also must remember" Hunk started to say calmly before lighting the canon making it shoot towards the beach in more Lotor crew area.

"I may have never killed before but I want to help protect my new home and my new family from death just like her" Lance replied and Hunk shook his had.

"Lance, your never been in a battle before nor are you use to the sea. Yes your a pirate but your still new, Pidge will not send you to just die when she sees a bright future for you for all of us. She placed you on the ship as last defence becuase she wants to return and see you still alive. Once she knows you can live then when the next fight happens, she trust you to fight to live to return to Rover. Just prove you won't die on her in this battle" Hunk smiled sweetly as he placed the next canon ball in.

"She wants me to live" Lance muttered in shock and Hunk nodded with a kind smile.

"She wants everyone in her crew to live, a single death will feel like she been stabbed herself becuase she never wants to lose another man to death, we may all be older then her or close in age but we a family. We uncles, brothers, cousins and she is our sister ... we live to make sure she never cries over us for losing to death. Pidge is a captain we can trust and have faith in and in return she just wish for us to live long lives" Hunk explained and Lance stood slightly stunned.

"Then we better make sure to never make her cry" Lance mumbled and got lit the canon making it shoot.

"Oh no" Hunk muttered as he turned to see a  canon ball heading towards Rover.

"Get down" Lance screamed out to the small number of men left to use the canons.

On the beach ...

"Any word" Shiro asked as he ran over to Keith, taking down an enemy while Keith fought his own enemy before him.

"Nothing yet" Keith huffed back before slashing down the enemy he was fighting.

"What about Lotor and Zarkon, where are they fighting" Pidge asked as she took care of an enemy pirate with a single slash to the throat.

"Haven't seen them, they must still be on their ship" Keith grumbled back as he caught his breath while the three stood looking at the sight of the battle before them.

"Mine nor your crew will last out much longer, we still just over a normal crew number against two ships full of black pirates ... What the plan" Shiro asked with worry as he knew the body count must already be high.

"Zarkon nor Lotor sounds the type of men to just leave someone to gain the treasure not with the power it holds. They must be on the island already looking, using the battle to keep us distracted since they don't care who dies" Pidge replied with a slight frown.

"We don't have enough men to win now, how are we gonna go off to look for the two captains" Keith snapped before slashing down another pirate that ran towards them.

"Call for a retreat ... get rover out of reach for canon fire" Pidge ordered as she glanced back to the town behind.

"And you" Shiro asked feeling uneasy.

"I'm going pirate hunting, Matt still looking for the cave for us to use and place the treasure within. You guys just get the crew and Rover back ... I'll signal you from the cliff where we handed Sendak once we ready to leave .. send a row boat to pick us up" Pidge ordered before clasping her sword with another pirate who tried sneaking up behind.

"Understood but you better not die" Shiro sighed and Pidge nodded.

"An hour .. if no word is heard then I'm coming back to the Island to save you" Keith warned before he and Shiro ran into the battle yelling out a rover retreat.

Pidge made her way into the town, looking around for any signs of someone else passing but found non. She had to find Captain Zarkon and Captain Lotor before they found Matt. He was the only hope of finding the cave, he knew the island well and he always trusted his heart to lead the way.

Pidge came to a stop as she felt someone watching her, glancing around trying to work out where the person was hiding, what cottage was a trap or did she already pass the safe point. Pulling out her sword she looked around once more before running, she just had to take the risk while running.

Sliding on her knees as throwing knife came towards her before she stood lifting her head and running towards the person who threw it. She didn't care if the pirate was another women because one your a pirate your the same as everyone else in a fight and Pidge wasnt going to lose this one.

Her feet moving once again now she knew she was getting close to one of the captains if he left bodyguards to slow down or kill anyone who followed and then a smirk filled her lips as she met eyes with the second pirate left to stand guard proving she was getting close.
