His POV:

It's hard being totally head of heels in love with your best friend right? Haven't we all experienced it? Today my best friend and crush y/n is coming over to chill for the day as school has been really stressful lately. I don't really have anything in particular planned but hey, I guess we can see where life takes us. 

I lay on my bed scrolling through Instagram before the doorbell rings. I race down the stairs to open the door. "Hey Pete!" she squeals excitedly and flings her arms around my body. "Hi Y/n, excited are we?" I respond as a blush appears on my cheeks while I hug her back. Y/n looks extra cute today, it could be the sparkle in her e/c eyes, or the way her h/c hair is styled. She lets go and steps inside as I close the door. "Yeah, I guess so. I feel like we haven't had a chill day in like forever." I let out a light chuckle before replying with "yeah, I totally feel you. Anyways what do you want to do?"  "Well I heard a new ice-cream place opened a few streets down, do you wanna go check it out?" I know Y/n loves ice-cream so I'm not surprised about how she knows about the new ice-cream parlour. "Sure thing Beautiful." I reply throwing in the pet name i gave her. I quickly grab my keys and notice a tint of pink to Y/n's cheeks. Could she be blushing?! I think to myself. No Peter, she doesn't like you like that so just drop it! I snap out of my little daydream I am in before leaving the house with Y/n. 

**TIME SKIP because lazy and it's not really important to the story**

A few hours of fun have passed and now we are in my room laying on my bed full of ice-cream and watching Tik Toks. She is laying on her back with her hair spread out everywhere. Y/n looks really adorable. Anyways I manage to advert my gaze back to my screen. I scroll up and a new Tik Tok is presented in front of me. The video shows a guy kissing his girl best friend and it was successful (like the video attached above). I then click on the hashtag guiding me to other videos like it. Perhaps I can do this with Y/n? I think before looking at more videos like it. 

As I look at the trend even more I begin to feel a confidence inside of me. Before I knew it I start secretly filming Y/n. Not in a creepy way of course, in a friendly way that she notices. She tries to push me away which makes her look even cuter. "Peter!!!" she whines. "Stop, I looks so bad." she says as she pushes the camera out of her face. "Ok, Ok, I'll stop." I say. "Well because you are being so incredibly rude and not allowing me to film your beautiful self" I casually flirt "can we at least film a Tik Tok dance?" I question. She smiles and says yes. I quickly saved the videos of me annoying her before I explain which dance I want to film. 

We practice 'When I Rule the World' by Liz as it's a hard one but looks really cool. Once we have perfected it I set up the timer and it begins counting down from 10. I stand there nervously fidgeting with my fingers. It feels like my heart is in my throat. '8,7,6' is displayed on the screen meaning that soon I will be kissing Y/n. '3,2' as the screen shows 1 the music begins to play and Y/n is confused. 

Your POV:

"Pete whats-" you say to your crush before being cut off my his lips. You are in shock. Surely your best friend/crush is not kissing you, it must be a dream. You give yourself a little pinch and you realise this is reality. Before you decide to kiss back Peter pulls away looking scared. Quickly i instinctively grab him by his shirt smashing my lips onto his. Both of us melt into it. Not too long we pull away for air but stare deeply into each others eyes. "I love you" we say in sync leaving us smiling. "Y/n, I know this is super cliche but I have had a crush on you since we first met all the way back in 1st grade." His cheeks turn all pink making him look cuter than he already does. "Peter, I've liked you for a really long time as well." He takes a step closer to you and hold your left hand. He looks down at it begins playing with your fingers. You can feel his nervous energy. "Y/n, do you wanna be my girlfriend?" he asks looking up into your eyes. Awwww he is so cute! You think. "Yes! I only want to be yours" you reply feeling like the luckiest girl in the world. suddenly you feel your feet not touching the ground an notice he is spinning you around. A small squeal escapes your lips. Peter finally places you back on your own two feet before sharing another passionate kiss with you. 

"I am the luckiest guy in the world to be with you Y/n L/n..."

Lol I wish I could do this trend but:

a) I don't have a guy best friend.

b) I am not one to be making the first move. 

c) also I know for a fact no guys could tolerate me for more than 1 second so ye.
