His POV:

I once had a girl
Or should I say she once had me
She showed me her room
Isn't it good Norwegian wood?

I had her, and she me. She was the loner in the school and of course I had to fall for her. Everyone told me to stay clear. "Come on Greg, Y/n L/n? She's a crazy bitch." My mate said. That statement filled me with anger. Without saying anything I stormed off to go find her.

"Y/n L/n right?" I say as she walks in front of me. Her head whips around to see me standing awkwardly. "Greg Brady right?" A blush appears on my cheeks by her words. I don't know what it is but theres something about her that makes me feel alive. "Ummm yeah, hey I was wondering-" "Yeah, you can walk me home." she interrupts and my jaw drops to the floor. How did she know I was going to say that?!  I think to myself, continuing to stare at her. "Well are you coming?" she said snapping me out of my thoughts. "Oh yeah." I say before walking over to her.

**Time Skip**

The walk to her house was nice. I have learnt so much about her and I don't understand how she doesn't have friends, she's so nice. In fact she was so down to earth. "Hey, ummm do you wanna come in?" Y/n asks. You could see she was becoming slightly awkward. "Yeah sure" I say before stepping into her lovely house. She grabs my hand and pulls me to what looks like her room.

She asked me to stay
And she told me to sit anywhere
So I looked around
And I noticed there wasn't a chair

"Do you wanna do homework together?" she asks sweetly. Damn how could I say no? "Yeah that would be cool." I respond. REALLY GREG?! 'that would be cool.' You are such an idiot! I mentally curse at myself for my stupid actions. "Sweet, take a seat." She replies as she sits on her bed and begins to take out sheets of paper, pens and pencils. I look around going for a desk and chair I could sit on. There was none. I can't sit on the bed, that would be weird and an invasion of privacy.

I sat on a rug biding my time
Drinking her wine
We talked until two and then she said
"It's time for bed"

I finally found a spot. It's not ideal but I am with Y/n so it's ok. I place my things on the floor besides a white fluffy mat and then sit. "Greg, what are you doing on the floor? Come join me on the bed, theres plenty of room." She replies with a smile that makes my heart melt. "I mean if you insist." I reply before standing up and joining her on the bed.

Hours passed of laughter and falling in love. You could say not much homework actually got done. It was mostly Y/n and I messing around around, having a great time. I wonder why we haven't done this sooner I think to myself. "Hey it's 2am. I think it's time for bed." She says. A pang of sadness hit my chest. I didn't want this to end. "Geez time flies when you're having fun, right?" I reply. Her sweet giggle escapes her soft pink lips and she nods.

We both get ready for bed. "Greg come here." she says patting the spot next to her. I find myself slowly walking towards her in my boxers. "Are you ok with sharing the bed? If not I can-" Y/n rambles but even though it's cute I cut her of. "Yeah I'm fine with sharing but just as long as you don't snore." I joke and she playful hits my chest.

She told me she worked
In the morning and started to laugh
I told her I didn't
And crawled off to sleep in the bath

We laid in bed. Side by side both looking at the ceiling. We are in complete silence, but it's not awkward. "I am so screwed for work in the morning." she says breaking the silence which is followed by a cute giggle. I turn to look at her and smile. Damn she makes me crazy. I return to stare at the ceiling and say "Well that makes one of us. I don't work."  Silence.  "Ok good night Greg. Thanks for today, I had fun." she's says before rolling over and closing her eyes. "Good night Y/n." You stay facing the ceiling and pause for a slight moment. "I think I'm in love with you." I whisper in case she hears.

And when I awoke I was alone
This bird had flown
So I lit a fire
Isn't it good Norwegian wood?

Morning greeted me with the sun shining through the window. I groan and notice that the spot next to me is empty. This bird has flown. I sigh  hoping she would still be here. I already miss her. Slowly I get up and changed before making the bed. I don't bother to leave a write a note as I plan to see her soon. I walk out of her to the front door trying not to wake the other possible sleeping members of the house. I finally made it to the door and see a note taped to it. 'Greg' it said. I rip it off the door desperate to see what it says. I open it to see

'I had fun yesterday. Call me: xxx-xxx-xxx'

A massive smile is forms on my lips. I hold the note close to my heart and quietly leave. I open the note again and it still says 'I had fun yesterday. Call me: xxx-xxx-xxx'

Who ever thought that just a few letters and number could make a man so happy?
