Chapter 2

AFTER he broke off from their kiss, Ashford was shocked when someone suddenly grabbed his arm and pulled her away from that beautifully perfect woman. He was about to aim his fist and punch that person when he turned around and noticed that it was Arlo, staring angrily at him.

"The hell, Arlo-"

"No. What the hell are you doing?" Arlo asked him, his face filled with irritation. "May I remind you Ash, kakakilala mo pa lang sa kaniya. Tapos ano? Gagawin mo na lang yun basta basta?" He added.

Ashford sighed. "I'm sorry. I just got carried away." He looked down and bit his lips. "Hindi ko mapigilan eh."

"You got carried away?" Arlo asked, sarcastically. "Ng alin? Ng kagandahan niya?" He scoffed then he hit Ashford's shoulder. "Just because she's beautiful, doesn't mean you'll just kiss her like that."

"But she's just..." He looked up and smiled sexily. "So irresistible."

"Irresistible or not, hindi mo dapat ginagawa yun." Arlo sighed. He then grabbed Ashford in the shoulders. "What if she felt sexually harassed? Edi napahiya ka na, pinakulong ka pa niya."

"Let him be, Arlo." Gonzalo cuts in. "Kung gustong mapahiya netong 'uhugin' na 'to, hayaan mo siya." He added that sent the two of them burst into laughter.

"Uhugin talaga?" He asked, slightly chuckling.

"Yes, it fits you perfectly." He replied while laughing. Then Gonzalo's face turned serious. "Pero maliban sa nagagandahan ka at naaakit sa kanya, is there other reasons why did you do that?" he asked.

Arlo then answered. "Syempre wala na." He said while chuckling. "Ayun lang naman dahilan ni Ash kung bakit niya gagawin yun. We know this dude, he'll just have a taste then he'll leave her-"

"Shut up, Arlo." He cuts off his words, slightly annoyed. "Hindi yun yung dahilan kung bakit ko ginawa yun."

"Then what, Ash?" It was Gonzalo who asked him. "Ano pa ang dahilan kung bakit mo ginawa sa kanya yun-"

"I think I fell in love with her." He cuts off Gonzalo's words that made the two of them stilled. "I don't know why, but the second I saw her, I think it's love at first sight." He sighed then he grinned at them. The type of grin that someone makes when they got caught doing something embarrassing. "And hell, she's so beautifully perfect. Sino ba'ng hindi mahuhulog sa kanya?"

Gonzalo gasped. "You-what?! You're in love Already?!" He asked, eyes widened. "Ashford, akala ko ba hindi ka muna papasok sa 'love' na yan?" He tsked. "And hell, you even promised us that!" He exclaimed.

"And I'm afraid I broke that promise tonight." He smiled then he faced his friends. "Because of that woman named Xenia."

Arlo tsked. "What if she doesn't love you the same way you love her, Ash?"

"Edi gagawin ko ang lahat para masabi niya ring mahal niya ako." He answered confidently. "Even to the point where even my life will be at stake." He added.

Gonzalo sighed then looked at him straightly. "Pero paano kung may umaaligid-aligid na lalaki sa kanya?" Gonzalo asked, startling him with his question. "What will you do?"

Ashford's face instantly darkened. "Then I would do everything to separate him from her." His face darkened even more. "Kung kailangan ko pa'ng patayin kung sino man yun, gagawin ko." He looked at them, anger visible in it. "Because Xenia's mine. Akin lang siya."

Arlo sighed, then he looked to his side. "Mukhang may mag-aaway na magkaibigan dito ah."

Gonzalo's eyes widened. "Arlo, bakit mo naman sinabi-"
