Daiki walks into the TV station's dressing room, cheerfully greets everyone he encounters along the way. He makes his way to sit next to his fellow group member, Hikaru, who is also a regular in the same TV programme as Daiki.

"Good morning Hika!" Daiki says with a huge smile on his face. "Have you had your breakfast?"

"Em," Hikaru gives a simple nod. "You look extra happy today Dai-chan. Something good happened?"

Daiki only grins like a child. "I had the best sleep in a while. It's so good waking up feeling this fresh! Are? Are you done with your make up already?" Daiki asks when he sees Hikaru walks towards the couch.

"I've been here for the past hour."

"You are too early!"

"Well, Kota need to wake up early to finish his final year thesis. His due date is in 4 days. With his butai still ongoing, morning is the only time he can do his schoolwork."

"Ah... I forgot that he is graduating this year," Daiki leans on his make up chair. "Must be tough on him to juggle between work and school."

"He is determined to complete his studies this year. The least I can do is to be by his side," Hikaru sits on the brown sofa in the middle of the dressing room, making himself comfortable. "He keeps saying he doesn't want to lose to Kei."

Daiki only listens in silence. He is now facing the huge mirror, beginning to clean his face with some toner. Hikaru mentioning Inoo's name made him feels uneasy- it is too obvious for Hikaru to notice.

Suddenly Daiki's cell phone beeps.

Hikaru observes Daiki's face glows up instantly as the boy browse through the incoming text messages. Joy is clearly beamed from his eyes. Hikaru hasn't seen this expression on Daiki for quite sometimes, not since he broke up with Takaki.

Perhaps they are back together again? Why else would Takaki drove Daiki to the TV station this early in the morning?

Yes, Hikaru witnessed it all. He was on his way back from the cafeteria with a cup of coffee in his hand when he saw Daiki happily talking to Takaki in the taller boy's car at the valet parking. Takaki whispered something to Daiki and casually kissed Daiki's hand before the boy exit the car. Daiki did not stop smiling ever since.

What other plausible explanation other than the two are seeing each other again?

But that cannot be the case. Inoo has been telling Hikaru that he is dating Daiki. Although honestly speaking there is not much of 'couple aura' coming from the two.

Daiki put his cell phone on silent mode and later resume his make up routine, still smiling from ear to ear. That was Takaki, texting him with his cheezy words just like the old days. Not to mention the naughty bit and hints of sexual appeal. For the last two weeks Daiki has been frequenting Takaki's apartment again, loving the sense of belonging he feels being there. Takaki who is also busy from his stage-play rehearsal never missed to come home for dinner. Eating together and cuddling while memorizing each other's script- Daiki feels blissful. Clearly, Daiki misses Takaki so much and vice versa. Every single chance they had is spent catching up with the intimacy that were missing for the past 6 months. Takaki's lips have become Daiki's new favourite dessert.

Hikaru flips the script in his hand. "Text from Yuya?" Hikaru casually asks, giving shock to the other boy.

"How... did you... know?" Daiki turns to face Hikaru, with a surprise look on his face.
