Basic Beliefs

As Christians we believe in one God and His son Jesus Christ. We might say wow how is it possible for the Almighty God to have a son. But believe me it's possible. If God can create the whole of man kind, create the whole of the world. He certainly can have a Son too.

Who is Jesus Christ??
    You have probably heard this name but you might not know who this is. Jesus Christ is regarded as  the Son of God.

As Christians we believe that He died on the cross for us and paid for our sins. That whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. By this it doesn't mean that Christians don't actually die. We do, but that is physically. The Bible tells us that because we believe in Jesus as the Son of God, and we believe that He died on the cross for our sins,we cannot die spiritually

let's take for example this parable from Luke 20:9-16
He went on to tell the people this parable: He went on to tell the people this parable: “A man planted a vineyard, rented it to some farmers and went away for a long time.  At harvest time he sent a servant to the tenants so they would give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the tenants beat him and sent him away empty-handed.  He sent another servant, but that one also they beat and treated shamefully and sent away empty-handed.  He sent still a third, and they wounded him and threw him out.   “Then the owner of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my son, whom I love; perhaps they will respect him.’   “But when the tenants saw him, they talked the matter over. ‘This is the heir,’ they said. ‘Let’s kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’  So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.  “What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them?  He will come and kill those tenants and give the vineyard to others.” When the people heard this, they said, “God forbid!”

This whole parable is basically talking about how God kept sending prophets to the world to preach to us but we as humans,refused to listen to their word so He decided, why don't I send My Son they will listen to Him but even when He sent His son,He was crucified and He suffered.

Before Christ, basically humans couldn't communicate with God. Communication with God was left for prophets and priests. Before the death and resurrection of Jesus , only the high priest could enter  a place called the Holy of Holies. And there was a thick curtain dividing that place from the outside world. But as soon as Jesus took the last breath on The Cross. That curtain was torn in two. Which meant through Jesus, we found salvation. Through Jesus,we are now one with God.

Basically, a lot of people don't get the fact that Christians have to pray to God through Jesus if suddenly we are 'one' with God.  But the answer is,Jesus is the only mediator between God and humanity. No one goes to the father except through the Son. To be saved, Jesus has to be in the picture. To be saved, Jesus has to be let in.

Because Jesus was crucified by us, you would think because of this,God should be angry with us and hate us and only love the ones who don't sin but the truth is that's a lie. He loves every single one of us so much and the reality honestly is that there is no one without sin. He sees us as His own and He loves us so much. He doesn't hate us, He hates our sin. He waits every day. Every night for us to turn to Him. So that He can show us love, make us feel important ,make us feel that peace in Jesus Christ. He gives us our whole lives to turn to Him. Because of what I said, you probably think that you can give your life to Christ tomorrow but the problem is that tomorrow isn't guaranteed at all. That's why He calls us everyday of our lives and I can legit promise you that accepting Christ, will  be the best decision that you have ever made. If you haven't felt loved,turn to Christ and He will shower you with pure unconditional love. Never felt like you had a purpose? He will show you that you can do all things. He will show you that you matter. Never felt peace? He will give you peace in the worst places and I promise you this. There is love and light in him. You don't even need to do much. Just let Him into your life and you won't regret it. He is Love. He is Life. He is Peace. He is Light.

Won't He judge you for all the things you've done?
  The answer is no. Throughout the New Testament of the Bible,it shows how Jesus was loving to everyone. How He ate with the sinners even when He was sinless. As Christians,He doesn't expect us to be perfect. He doesn't expect us to be sinless either. Because the devil will try to have His way. But what matters is us trying as much as we can not sin. Trying as much as we can to love Him more and more and He will love us unconditionally. Trying as much as we can to show Him that we have left our life of sin to be with him. He doesn't care about the sins that we've committed now, He doesn't care how many sins that we have committed. What He cares about is us leaving that sin to turn to Him for a new life. For a fresh start with our personal Savior Jesus Christ. Who will love us unconditionally. And who will pull us out of our misery and bring us to light and happiness. You might notice how much I've placed emphasis on happiness and joy and light and life and all that. Well that's because I haven't been more sure about anything in my entire life.

Trust me,there's no amount of sin,that you might have committed for Jesus not to forgive. Because in my opinion, there's no greater love than to die for even the people who crucified you. To die for people who might say you were just a fictional character. To die for people that will utter unbelievable things about you. Jesus just wasn't human because, I know I wouldn't have died for people that would have done those things above. I wouldn't have died for people who called me false and spat on my face.  I wouldn't have left all the good things in heaven to come down on earth to experience hate. Jesus lived, and He still does. He was more than a prophet or a rabbi.

I have doubted myself in a lot of situations but the ones that prove that Jesus is light and life, I have never doubted cause it's true. There is no love greater.

Believe me, I haven't been a Saint and I still am not. I sin. I sin everyday. Even though I gave my life to him. Like I said I will still fall short and sin. But Luke I also said. That doesn't matter. The fact the we have accepted Him and also tried to turn away from our sins, that's what matters.  He loves you so much. And He wants you.

I wish my mouth could explain all the happiness that came with being Christian. Tears might run down your cheeks seeing how much faith took all darkness away. Seeing how believing wiped away your tears.  There is happiness and joy in this .

But the disclaimer is, being a Christian isn't easy.  It means taking up your cross daily. Yes Jesus is with you but people will prosecute you for believing in Him. They will laugh. But you know what you enjoy in Jesus. You know what you enjoy in God that makes you go on. That makes you keep believing in Him and even loving Him more.

Jesus is always there for you. Every step of the way . He will love and cherish.  He will make you know that you have a purpose in life.

When people share their experiences with Jesus in their lives,trust me they aren't lying. They aren't playing mind games. They aren't trying to deceive you or waste your time.

Jesus is the way,the truth and the life.
