Third person POV?

Richie and Eddie has decided to spend the day together. There was a river not too far from here, so they'd just spend the day there.

"Come on!" Richie said as he got out of the car and walked over to the river, followed by Eddie.

Richie took his shoes off and began walking in the water.

"Is this sanitary?"

"No idea," Richie grabbed him by the arm and pulled him in.

"Fuck you!" Eddie laughed as he splashed Richie with water.

"You really want to go there?"

"Yes," Eddie smirked.

Richie and Eddie spent the next maybe hour just goofing around in the water, acting like kids again. But now they were lying on the grass next to each other. "I wish we were still kids."

"Don't we all?" Eddie laughed. They looked over at each other and their smiles faded. Eddie sat up, followed by Richie and they continued to look at each other.

They were looking at each other's lips.

Their faces were barely an inch away from each other. Richie's lips parted and Eddie lifted his hand and rubbed his cheek.

"We can't," Eddie whispered.

Richie lowered his head and put his forehead against Eddie's. "Why?" he whispered back.

Eddie didn't reply. Of course he wanted to. But he didn't want it to ruin their friendship if it was just one kiss. If the kiss didn't mean anything, it could ruin everything.

Richie lifted his head off of Eddie's and looked down at the grass.

"Richie."

He looked over. "What?"

Eddie grabbed the back of Richie's head, and pushed his lips onto Richie's.

Richie cupped Eddie's cheek and sat up a little more. It was only the two of them. Which means they could stay there however long. Richie never wanted it to end. Ever.

Eddie slowly backed out with three little pecks on the lips. Richie ran his finger's through Eddie's hair and kissed his forehead.

The both fell on their backs on the grass. Neither of them saying a word, but Eddie interlocked their fingers and they both just laid there, smiling.
