No Looking Back

The towel wrapped around me was not enough to make me feel any less naked underneath.

Thankfully, we didn't end up going down the elevator. We took the back way down the stairs to the small section of grass standing before the freeway.

Rain beat down on us. I stood in the front with a taunting Cameron right behind me.

"Ok, here's what you have to do." he couldn't even contain his laughter. "you have to run to the other side of the road and then back. No clothes. No looking back. No regrets."

I scowled at a puddle splattered with droplets of water. No regrets, huh? I'm starting to regret this whole night.

"Alright, but you better close your eyes." I say, starting to untie the rope around my robe.

"Haha. Not a chance." Taylor said.

"It's alright, I got you covered." mahogany said, smacking Taylor across the head.

I smiled then faced the road. I took a breath.

No regrets.

I flung the robe from my body in mid sprint. My converse beat against the road, kicking up water. Cars honked but I ignored them, already my body covered in goose bumps and numb with the patter of the rain drops. I screamed because it was crazy and I couldn't believe I was doing this.

I hit the other side of the two way road then launched back. This was probably the worst thing I have ever done.

But the funny thing was, it was also the funnest.

I made it halfway before an ear piercing scream echoed through the night. Red and blue flashing lights blinded me. I didn't stop running though, even though I probably should have. My bare legs kept going.

"Run Kimberly!" someone yelled I ran around to the front, where all the other guys had ran. A red truck greeted me. Cameron rode in the back.

"Get in!" he yelled, shooting out his hand to help me up. I grabbed it and leapt into the truck bed. In the process, I managed to bang my knee against the side of the truck.

I rolled on the floor as the car sped away. I clutched my knee. I looked up at cameron, who was suddenly shirtless. He tossed his drenched shirt at me.

Without hesitating, I pulled it on over me. It was like a dress. A very wet, very cold dress. But it was better than nothing.

Cameron say across from me, his eyes wide. I glared at him.

"What?" I snap at him.

"Would it be to sudden to say I'm in love with you?"

"Yes, actually it would be." I say.

"That was the most incredible thing I've ever seen."

"Me naked?" I ask, slightly freaked out.

Cameron flushed. "no-no! I meant I didn't think you would actually do it..."

"Well, guess what, I did. And now I am being chased by the cops. Thanks."

I shook my hair out like a white dog, hopefully spraying Cameron even more.

"Now, it's your turn."

"What?" Cameron asked.

"Now you have to do a dare for me." I say. There was no way I was letting him out easy.

Then, something amazing happened. What was that in his eyes? No, it couldn't be. Is that....fear, I saw? Fear in the eyes of Cameron Dallas?

This was going to be great.
