Go Big or Go Home

"Break into the mall and steal me something."

Cameron laughed. "Ha. You are funny."

I shot him a look that hopefully came across as me not being funny. "Fine. Don't do it. Just proves that I am funner than you and ultamitly better at everything."

He watched me for a second, thinking this over while clutching a cheeseburger. We had stopped at a Sonic drive through after we were sure the cops werent anywhere near us. Teenage boys such as Cameron never failed to surprise me. After eating seven hole pizzas only an hour ago, they were still hungry. Where they found the money to pay for it, I did not know. Yes, it was annoying that they found money now instead of before, so I could have gone home instead of being chased by the cops naked.

I popped a fry in my mouth; the taste of succes. (And a little bit of betrayl. Jake, my boss, didnt like us going to other resturaunts besides our own. As much as I love pizza, no one can resist Sonic's fries.)

Cameron moaned then smacked the window to the truck. It slid open to reveal Nash.

"We are going to the Mall." Cameron said, almost defeated. I grinned.

"Alright. Auto Bots roll out!" Nash shouted with a mouth full of a corn dog.

"You have to come with me." Cameron insisted as he climbed out of the truck. The lights from the parking lot reflected off his bare chest, toning his muscles nicely. I tried not to notice, but I couldnt help myself.

"Uh, how about no." I reply.

"Yes. How am I supposed to know what to steal for you?" he leabed over the side of the truck.

"I am already in trouble with the cops, I dont need anymore." I say, folding my arms promptly over my chest. Cameron played with some of my hair. The rain had cleared up a litte, but my hair was still sopping.

"Go big or go home, Kimberly." he laughed.

"Going home sounds really nice actually."

"Thats it-" he said. Before I could do anything, Cameron had slipped his hands under my armpits and pulled me up over the truck like I weighed two pounds. I screamed out his name as he began to carry me like a baby as he sprinted towards the mall's back entrance.

"I like it when you say my name like that, do it again." he whispered in my ear. I smacked my hand against his bare chest. He thought it was more amusing than painful. I could feel him shake with laughter against me.

Eventually I gave up trying to get away from him. We had made it to the dumpsters. A drunk truck driver who was there to refil the pop machines was fumbling with the keys to the back door. We watched silently and waited.

He opened the door and pushed in the cart. We quickly slipped inside after him before the door closed. He set his keys down on a desk while he went back outside to grab another box of pop and drank some more beer from a blue can. Cameron snatched the keys and grabbed my hand, dragging me into the mall.

It was dark and scary. It seemed so much bigger without people roaming around. Cameron still hadnt let go of my hand, but I was glad he didnt.

"Where to first, my lady?" he shook the keys.

"Hmmm." I looked around. I pointed to the first place that looked interesting. "There."

Cameron took out the keys and began searching for the correct one. The store I had chosen was full of a bunch of skater stuff. They had t-shirts with drug references and weird cartoons. Skateboards lined the walls, along with a few snowboards. I dont know why I wanted to go there first, it just looked dark and mysterious, and tempting.

"Have you ever skateboarded?" Cameron asked as he slipped in the key to the sliding bars protecting the store.

"Nope." I waited for him to push the bars open. "Never got the chance."

I brushed along the clothes, running my hands over the fabric. I looked down at Camerons shirt that I was still wearing and then back at the other clothes. I have never stolen anything in my life. Not even from my parents. I always got this sickening guilty feelings afterwards and I gave up and confessed. Yeah, I know, I'm a goody goody, but after tonight, I wouldnt be to sure.

"Here, put this on." Cameron came out of the shadows with a skimpy looking bright green stripper outfit covered in feathers. I rolled my eyes and grabbed a blue bra that looked about my size and superwoman underwear.

"Ill stick to these, thank you very much." I said. Cameron looked disapointed, but he shrugged it off. I laughed and flowed towards the dressing rooms.

I slipped out of Camerons shirt and into the underwear. Crap. I forgot the rest of the clothes.

"Cameron, will you grab me a shirt and some pants or something?" I yelled, feeling slightly embarrassed. Only ten seconds later, Cameron appeared inside my dressing room holding some clothes in his hand.

I felt my cheeks flush and I folded my arms over my chest. "Um, its occupied."

"I've already seen you naked, Kimberly." He handed her the clothes and continued to sit down on the waiting chair. He snickered at me, and I rolled my eyes and slipped into the jeans, ignoring his prying eyes. The jeans fit perfectly, and in fact, made my butt look really nice.

Cameron whistled under his breath. I felt his hands glid over my waist, spinning me around to face him as he checked me out. I watched his brown eyes soften.

"Man, I am good." he congradulated himself. Heat raditated from where his hands touched my skin. He hardly seemed to notice, but I felt like I was on fire. I bet he touched thousands of girls and felt nothing. Cameron Dallas had no cares in the world. He didnt care about any girls. All he cared about was himself, and popularity, and being famous.

He didnt care about me.

I quickly slipped on my shirt and wiggled from his finger tips. His hands slid away from me like water. I looked away from him, feeling a hollow pit in my stomach.

Why was I being like this? It didnt matter if Cameron actually liked me or not. I was never going to see him again, after this night, except maybe in jail. He was just having fun, and I was his toy for the night.

The shirt he had picked out said "Too cool for School" it graffetied letters. It was blue, and brought out my eyes a little bit. Cameron rose to his feet and stood behind me in the mirror, looking at himself...

Wait. He wasnt. He wasnt looking at himself, he was looking into my eyes. My eyes subconciously widened, before I quickly turned away and pushed myself out of the dressing room.

"I hope you are paying for these." I say.

"I thought you said I had to steal you something?" Cameron asked, leaping up onto the checkout counter.

I leaned against the counter, careful not to make eye contact with him again. "Yeah, but I havent decided what I want you to steal yet."

"Fine. I will tell them to put it on my tab." he said. As I watched, he slipped out two skateboards from above the casheir. He handed one to me with palm tree designs. His had a bunch of black diamonds scattered across it.

"Lets teach you how to skateboard." Cameron said, leaping down. I clutched the skateboard awkwardly.

"Uh..." I said. Cameron placed his board on the ground.

"Its easy. All you need is a little push."
