Chapter four

Tiki's pov

We made it to the mall in what felt like five seconds. It's like every time I go to the mall, the drive gets shorter and shorter. We get out the car and divide into groups. I go with Aaron and Zack goes with Austin and Lexi. She kept looking at me weird in the car. Idk what it is about her. It's like I find her attractive but at the same time I'm intimidated or like I'm competing against her. Idk what for tho. What do we have against each other? We literally just met.

Aaron and I go to champion cuz duh. And idk where the three stooges went.

"Hey Aaron, how'd you like Lexi?" I say.
"I dunno. She's cool I guess. She didn't really talk the whole car ride." He says
"Yeah. Which makes sense. She could be shy." I say.
"Yeah. Why are u asking?" He says
"I honestly don't know. I feel like me and her have weird tension." I say
"What? Why? You guys just met. Why would there be tension?" He says with a laugh.
"Beats me." I say with a shrug.
"Are you gonna talk to her about it?" He asks
"Maybe. Just not now. Probably later." I go
"Okay well let's just get out of here." He says.

We buy our stuff which isn't a lot. Just some hoodies. We pay and head off to find the other three.

Lexi's POV

Zack, Austin and I go to the food court cause we were all hungry and didn't really wanna shop. Just eat. Haha. We got Taco Bell which was iMmAcUlAtE. It took us forever to eat cuz we were acting like doofuses the entire time. Just joking around. Austin is so funny. His sense of humor has gotten better since 3rd grade haha. Even tho we didn't go to the same elementary school, we were still close because of how close I was with Zack's family.

After we get done eating, which took about and hour and a half, we went to go meet up with Tiki and Aaron. I asked the boys what they're names were and who was who. Tiki was the one trying to have a staring contest. Well I was the one trying to have a staring contest but he started it. Ya think I should ask them what his deal is? Or just...wait?

Imma just wait...

"Hey guys do u think the other two are like, ya know, cool with me hangin out with you guys?" I ask. I know I said I gonna wait but I'll ask  about Tiki another time.
"Yeah, I don't see why they wouldn't." Austin says.
"Mm, okay." I say, unsure.
"Why? What's wrong?" Zack asks while nudging me in the side cause I'm walking in between them.
"Nothing." I say.
"You sure?" He says back.
"I think so" I say with a laugh.

It's not that something's wrong. I don't know if it's wrong. It feels..kinda..right to me...no, I can't. I can't hurt myself again. It's too soon. Not now. Maybe some day...but not now.
