Urie's pov

I started heading to the east part of the woods. I needed to pass Amber's flower garden to get there. As I was running through it, I noticed that I started to slow down. Eventually, I came to a full stop.

Around me were roses. Red, White, Orange. All the colours you could imagine. The red ones were always the ones that interested me. I don't know why. They just did.

A red rose stands for love and romance. I always carried a red rose around. I used it as a weapon, both in physically as mentally. I gave the people I pretended to love a red rose, just before I claim their soul. It's what an Incubus does after all.

I bend down and took a better look at a rose. This one was pink. It meant gratitude, grace, admiration and joy if I remember correctly.

"One last thing. Think about the jackets again. What does it really mean to you? Is it your source of happiness? If not, then what is? Stop making excuses and answer the questions honestly. Do it, before it's too late."

"What does that jacket mean to me?" I thought out loud. I then turn to look at a red rose. "What does she mean to me?"

After I said that, I realized what I was supposed to be doing. Amber is still in danger!

I immediately jumped up and started sprinting towards the east side of the woods. I stopped once I was in front of the first trees.

'Amber should be here.' I thought while looking around. 'There is no way I'll find her if I just stand here. I geuss there is no other option than to go into the woods.'

I entered the woods and started searching. All I saw, however, were trees. But I didn't give up. I couldn't.

I had hurt her once. I remember how painful it was seeing her like that. She had bruises all over her arms. They looked badly, but she didn't mind them one bit. She was trying to convince me that she was alright. I was so worried about her, I could feel my whole body ache. Funny huh? She was the one that got hurt and yet I was the one feeling pain.
But she also has effects on me when she's happy. I remember when we were on the roof of the Rikimaru mansion. It was late at night and the stars were shining bright. Everyone else was asleep. It was just the two of us. We talked the night away under a blanket with some hot chocolate. I remember the reflection of the stars in her eyes. I could feel my heart skip a beat.

I smiled at the memory. My eyes shone with determination. I will find her.

It was at that moment that I heard a crash.

'That sounded nearby!'

I hurried my way over there. I seemed to be close to the end of a hill, well, more like a cliff. I could hear water rushing. I looked around, trying to look for something or someone that could cause such a loud sound.

Looking to my right, I saw a tree. The tree had fallen down. I walked closer to it. It didn't have any moss on it.

'This should be it. This caused the loud crashing sound I heard.'

I inspected the tree more. I then saw something that caught my attention. There were marks on the tree, claw marks. That could only mean one thing.

"Amber?" I silently asked.

"Amber?" I asked a bit louder.

I stood up straight and cleared my throat a little.

"Amber? Are you here? It's me, Urie." I said in a clear voice.

"Urie?" I heard a soft voice say.

"Yes, it's me! Where are you?" I said while looking around.

"Urie! Down here!" I heard the voice more clearly. I looked over the edge of the cliff and I could spot a figure clinging to the sandy wall. The figure was standing on a somewhat unstable root.
