Tris' POV:
*Will and Christina kiss, a little too sloppily for my taste. All around me is the pounding of Dauntless fists. Then I feel a tap on my shoulder and turn to see Tobias standing behind me. I get up, beaming.
"You think giving you a hug would give away too much?" he says.
"You know," I say, "I really don't care."
I stand on my tiptoes and press my lips to his.
It is the best moment of my life.*
We break apart to see Christina and Will staring at us. Christina's mouth was wide open and she was giving me a look of disbelief.
"You're catching flies." I say with a chuckle.
She shuts her mouth. A look of anger replaces her shocked one.
"WHAT??!! WHEN??!! HOW???!! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME???!!!!" She screams, spit flying out of her mouth while storming over to us.
She looks like a volcano about to blow.
"Ummm, I'm gonna go." Tobias says to me looking over at his friends who were staring at us.
"K." I reply, giving him a peck on his cheek.
He speed walks over to his friends all while looking back at Christina with a look that can only be described as one thing. Terror.
Christina reaches me, grabs my shoulders, and steers me to the hallway outside.
"EXPLAIN. NOW."
"Umm, okay?" I take a deep breath.
"We started dating after the second stage of initiation. But I think he liked before that. I noticed how he would always put his hand on my shoulder when explaining something. Or when he told me to keep tension in my abdomen, he touched it. And when he was drunk that night at the chasm, he said that I looked good," I explained, "I guess he liked me from the start, but I didn't really notice my feelings for him until he saved me when Al um,"
"I get it," Christina says, "This is soooo exciting!!" She squeals.
We go back to the dining hall where Zeke was standing on a table with a megaphone in hand. Where the heck did he get a megaphone?
"PARTY AT MY PLACE! BE THERE BY 6!" He yells.
Why does he have to yell into a megaphone? Oh righhhhht. He's Zeke.
I spot Tobias in the crowd trying to make his way to me, but keeps getting pushed back by the horde of people trying to make their way out of the hall. I start walking toward him, but before I can do so, Christina grabs my shoulders and says,
"Oh no you don't. Party at 6. It's 2:00. That only leaves us 4 HOURS TO GET READY, SO YOU BETTER COME WITH ME. We need to get you into something more suitable for a party." And with that she drags me off.
I mouth meet you there to Tobias and he nods.
Christina walks me to a clothing store called Dauntless Clothing. Wow. So original. Note the sarcasm. She pulls me inside the store and walks over to a shop assistant. She taps her on the shoulder and the assistant turns around.
"Hello girls! What can I help you with?" She asks nicely. Wow. She must have been Amity at one point to be this nice.
"My friend and I were wondering if you had any dresses to wear to a lets say, sorta casual party?" Christina asks the lady- Felicity, her name tag says.
"Sure! They are right over here!" Felicity points to a rack of dresses behind her.
"Thanks." Christina says, and pulls me to the rack.
She grabs several dresses, none of which I like very much, and walks me to the dressing rooms. She shoves me into a room and piles the dresses into my arms.
"Try these on." She tells me.
I pull the curtain close and stare in the mirror. Oh boy, I say to myself. I'm in for a very long day.

Ta-dah!!! First chapter up! I suppose it's not the best chapter ever written, but it will do.
I will be updating more than I usually wud cuz school is ending, which means Zoom dance and taekwondo classes will be ending too. And many other zoom things too. Techically dance already ended but there is a drive-through meet at the studio on May 20th soooo yeah. But SCHOOL IS ENDING NEXT WEEK!! WHOO-HOO!!! Online schooling is awful. I want to get back to school. Not cuz I like the learning part of it, I just want to meet my friends. Texting them is NOT the same.
Anyways, I think i'll get in one more chapter this week.
