Noah's POV

'What?! How did I loose again?! Cody let's out a frustrated scream and turns off his controller. I look up from my almost finished book to see a pouting Cody. I can't help but smile softly at his adorable expression on his cute little face. Wait, what? You know what, I won't even deny it. I'll give it to him, he's cute. I quickly hide my smile behind my book and continue reading. 'Oh, come on, Cody. Don't be sad! You almost won.' Owen says, trying to cheer up the new kid. Cody mumbles something unintelligible and sighs. 'Who wants some snacks?!' A voice says, as Owen's bedroom door swings open.

Cody's POV

I look up from the ground to see a short and firm man. I already thought Owen looked a lot like his mom, but wow, it's like they copied and pasted his dad into Owen. 'We do!' Owen says, as he gets up from his bed to take the snacks out of his father's hands. 'Thanks, dad!' He says, while fist bumping him. 'Anytime, son. Also, your mother told me to tell you that you can't go to sleep too late, but I'm a cool dad, so I won't tell you.' Mr. Waterman says. I can hear Noah chuckle softly next to me, and I feel my cheeks burn up. I don't know why, but his laugh has me feeling some kind of way. His laugh is kinda...hot? Nah...that's gay. I'm not gay. I'm straight, I like girls and only girls. Right? Owen's dad exits the room and Owen tosses me a bag of chips, which I gladly open. 'Hey, Noah? What do you wanna eat?' He asks, as he holds up some cookies and other junk food. 'I don't need anything.' Noah says, again keeping his eyes on the book he's reading. I decide to speak up this time. 'Noah, man. You really gotta eat man. You've barely eaten anything today and I promised your mom I'd make sure you ate something.' Noah looks up from his book and stares into my eyes. After a few seconds of silence, he rolls his chocolate brown eyes and sighs. 'Fine. Pass me the cookies, big O.' He says, while holding his hand into the air, using the other one to support the book in his lap. He catches the bag of the delicious small chocolate chip cookies, and opens it. I can't help but stare. They just smell so good. And by that I mean the cookies! Well, gotta admit, Noah smells kinda good too...Damn it! Another gay moment. Cody, what is up with you man? You're a ladies man! You're the guy who falls for any pretty girl that just smiles at you. Noah catches my gaze and waves his hand in front of my eyes. 'You OK there, new kid?' I quickly snap out of my daze and look at Noah. 'What...oh yeah I'm good!' I manage to say. Wow, smooth, Code meister. Noah looks at the bag of cookies and then back at me. 'Let me guess, you want one as well?' He asks, while grabbing one out of the bag. I simply nod, making it look like I was eyeing the cookies in stead of the tanned boy. 'Open wide, new kid.' He says, raising his arm. I open my mouth and he smoothly throws a cookie into my mouth. 'Mhm, these are so good!' I exclaim, while grabbing another one out of the bag. Noah places the bag in front of me and continues reading. We all sit there in silence, except for the occasional sound of Noah flipping a page or the crunches of Owen and mine's food.
(AN: i have no idea if that was a good sentence or not lmaoo)
After finishing the cookies, I decide to break the silence. 'Guyssss, I'm bored. Can we do something fun?' I ask. 'Let's play truth or dare!' Owen says, excitedly. Noah bursts into laughter, looking up from his book. 'Big O, that's a girls sleepover game. We're no girls. Next thing you know, we'll be painting each other's nails while discussing which celebrity we wanna smash.' The sarcastic know it all says. 'I think it's a good idea! Let's do it!' I say, while turning to face Owen. 'Cool, Noah you gotta join, though.' He says. Noah simply chuckles softly and starts reading again. 'Hey, we won't take no for an answer, mister bookworm! Now you will take a break from that book and do something actually fun!' I say, while grabbing Noah's hand and pulling him onto the bed Owen and I are sitting on. Noah tumbles slightly and almost falls into my lap, but he holds onto the rod of the bed just in time. He pulls himself up, and sits in front of Owen and I, looking slightly irritated. Never mind, really. irritated. 'I'll go first! Cody, truth or dare?' Owen asks me. 'Dare! Truths are for chickens!' I answer proudly. Owen crawls over to Noah and whispers something into his ear. Noah smirks and whispers something back, causing Owen to laugh. 'Cody, I dare you to go into my little sister's room, grab her tutu and tiara, and dance like a ballerina!' He says. 'Ohh, you have a sister! She hot?' I ask. 'It depends, you into six year olds, Code Meister?' Noah says in a sarcastic tone. I realise what Noah means and nod. 'Where is her room, anyways?' I ask, already walking towards the door. 'It's the room next to mine, and it has the name Nora on it. You can't miss it.' Owen says, while stuffing his face with some Cheetos. I walk into the hall and to his little sister's room. I walk inside. Where the fuck should I even find them? I open her closet, but no tutu or tiara to be seen. A small chest catches my eye, and I open it. The chest is filled with clothes Owen's sister presumably uses to play dress up. I quickly grab the tutu and tiara, and walk back to Owen's room. 'I can keep my pants on right? Like I can just wear the tutu above my trousers?' I ask. Noah and Owen shake their head while smirking, and I sigh. 'The bathroom is down the hall to the left. Good luck changing, ballerina.' Owen says, laughing. I walk into the bathroom and change into the way too small skirt. It only just covers my boxers, revealing my skinny, pale legs. I place the matching tiara on my head and look into the mirror. Great, now my hair is a mess and I look like I walked straight out of a princesses movie. I walk back into the hall and stand in front of Owen's door. 'I'm done.' I say, trying to adjust the mini skirt. 'Watcha waiting for, princess?' Noah shouts, teasingly. I walk into Owen's room and see Owen bursting out in laughter. Even Noah can't manage to hold a poker face and he starts laughing uncontrollably. He grabs his phone and I feel my face getting red. 'Do a pirouette for me, princess!' He says, while zooming in on me. I sigh. I did not sign up for this. I do a few twirls through the room and close my eyes of embarrassment. Not looking where I was going, I bump my knee into the corner of Owen's desk. 'Ouch!' I exclaim, feeling the corners of my eyes fill up with tears. Yes, I am a cry baby, I can't help it! Owen quickly runs up to me and hugs me. 'You okay buddy?' He asks. I nod in pain, as I walk back and sit on the bed again. 'Noah, truth or dare?' I ask, while rubbing my sore knee. 'Truth.' He answers. 'Ugh, boring! Anyways, who was your first relationship with?' I ask him. Noah clears his throat. 'Well, elementary school relationships don't really count, so let's say that my first ever official relationship was with this girl named Emma. I thought she was amazing when I met her. She actually got my sense of humour and she laughed at my jokes. I fell for her, and well, we started dating. At that time, I was bi. I was more into guys, though, but I wanted to give Emma a chance, since I thought she was a genuine nice girl. But, I was wrong. One day, I walked in on her, kissing her ex. She cheated on me. I was so heartbroken and I didn't know what to do. She said she would never do it again, but I didn't trust her anymore. So, I broke up with her, and went back to my single, and also heartbroken life. When I was single again, I had a lot of time to think, and not long after, I finally knew for sure, I am gay.' Noah answers. I looked at Noah, not knowing what to say. I decide to do what any good friend would have done, and hug him. I can feel Noah stiffen. He is definitely not a hugger, but I decide to hold on just a little longer. 'I'm sorry she cheated on you, Noah. She's missing out on someone great.' I whisper, trying to comfort him. Noah squeezes out of the hug softly and has a small grin on his face. 'Hey, that happened years ago. I am over it now. I hope the bitch is happy with her ex, or now boyfriend. I don't know, and I don't care. She can do whatever she wants. I'm free of her, I'm girl free. And I am loving every second of it.'
